All 4 shows in the pit. Nothing here
  • It's gonna be ok. I promise. Do you tell everyone when you get the flu?
  • My husband N1 Chicago. I was also at N2. I am negative so far. Hope everyone feels better soon.

Flu is very contagious too... and can be bad .. what's the difference if people have the flu or covid... sickness spreads but covid can have long term symptoms for some... so lots of people don't want it... or any illness.

My sis at night 2, I am still negative
  • Wife and I have something since returning home Wednesday after the first 3 shows. I slept 11 hours and still tired throughout the day. Feel almost human today.
  • This guy! St Paul N2.

Always so strange how there seems to be 2 people together all the time but only 1 gets it. I’ve had it once but my girlfriend never has

First time I had it, 6 of us were together in a SUV for 5 hours both ways and only 3 tested positive and only I had symptoms.

I mean, I generally don't go out in the world when I have a contagious virus and if I was with someone I'd give them the heads up, sure. In my experience, you can't go wrong with extending some kindness and having concern for fellow humans.

And as a person who hates being sick, whether it’s cold, flu, or Covid, I really appreciate this and pass on the courtesy.

I was exposed last Monday, found out that Tuesday. Tested negative all week, including Friday in the parking garage at LaGuardia, so I got on a plane to Indianapolis. Was prepared to stay home if I tested positive. All for naught anyway.

Agree with both of you. I tested negative twice but was still masked up the whole 6 hours on the drive to Indy today.

Also, Hetfield tested positive on 9/2. Metallica didn’t get back on stage until 9/9. I hope they decide on FTW tomorrow, but I doubt we hear anything until hours before the show, which really sucks for us travelers.

I worry for those who are traveling. They don’t have to tell us details but it’s so vague. Is this a serious one day illness or a tour ending illness? I know it’s tough for touring acts now but it’s alarming how many shows have been cancelled for PJ the last year

For those of you sick - does it feel worse than a normal cold or flu. Just curious how the new covid variant or whatever is hitting people.

I hope everyone who got sick feels better soon. I was in the pit for both St. Paul shows and am fine. It sounds like Chicago was more of a risk factor. Everyone please take care of yourselves.

When is the common cold roll call? Who cares about this in 2023?

    I sneezed 3 times yesterday!

People care about being sick whether it's flu or covid... and there are consequences for many... long covid is real even if you think it's a hoax... ask those suffering with long term fatigue, brain fog,  shortness of breath. Stop being so callous
  • There are some heartless people who have never experienced loss and pain. It's evident. But one day life comes to you

I have had long covid for a year and half. Covid isn't the flu and it's not a cold, and those of you talking like that are hopefully ignorant rather than heartless.

I think they are both.. sadly... no one can claim ignorance alone anymore. Sometimes these deniers think it makes them cool to act tough on the internet.
