Gods Dice was amazing to hear! Can’t wait for night 2 and Indy. 🤞🏼 for Hard to Imagine or even better Other Side. I can do without all of Gigaton but would love for them to finally play Comes Then Goes. ✌🏼

Man that story from Ed about visiting his Grandma's house...right into Throw Your Arms Around Me. That's why all us nutjobs keep doing this. That was incredible.

Not to mention the nod to The Bear.

    Great night

Holy heck. Great choices EV. I don't know gigaton songs yet but that's my problem! Wow.

This one was insane. Can’t believe I was there for it
This is why I pinch myself, and
look at my feet for a moment
to see if I'm in my shoes in an
                upright position during when it's
                 insane like you describe

Coincidentally, this was my 27th show as well. I wouldn’t rank it the best, but it was definitely fantastic.
I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side.
I am right by your side.

I enjoyed this show as well as both St Paul and am noting that tour debuts of Oceans, Garden, Nothingman, Immortality and Leash have yet to occur.  What a band.
Also Present Tense still due to be played.
    Maybe Come Back?
    Immortality too

Has riot act Album been played live I can't remember
The whole album front to back? No.
That's what I thought. I see that coming on this tour
They will never play "Bu$hleaguer" again. It hasn't seen the light of day since 2007, when George W. Bush was still president. It would sound so out of place at a live show in 2023.
I hear it every now and then on PJ Radio
I'm not saying they've disavowed the song. But they haven't performed it live since 2007, for obvious reasons.
Actually it's a cool song the rhythm of it.
One of my favorite. plus they don't actually say Bushleaguer in the lyrics.
I like the rhythm, too, but the lyrics of the verses are among the worst he's ever written, and not because of the political message. I agree with the sentiment, but it's just delivered in such a ham-handed way.
Are you kidding? That song has some of the best lyrics he had written.
Really? "This is such a happening tailpipe of a party"? "A nicotine wish and a Columbus decanter"? "A think tank of aloof multiplication"? "With onionskin plausibility of life and a keyboard reaffirmation"? Come on.

If you're thinking of "Born on third, thinks he got a triple," Ed didn't come up with that. That expression had been around for a while. I'll admit that "He's not a leader, he's a Texas Leaguer" is pretty clever and, as far as I know, that's his (although it could also have been something Ann Richards said about Bush).
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

I think you have it wrong. I'm with the lyrics being Great. But that's my opinion.

to be honest, I've never understood half those lyrics. made me think he just closed is eyes, flipped through a thesaurus, and pointed at random words.
Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall

"The aristocrat choir sings, 'What's the ruckus?' " ... is pretty great, though.
