    My cousin went to Chicago I last minute and got a poster and a license plate in less than 5 mins about 15 mins before they took the stage in the 300 level. Maybe no fanatics were up there?

    No doubt Rosenstock isn’t in the same merch league as some bigger bands, but I just find the peak behind the curtains on the business side of being in a band fascinating.
    BJ Barham from American Aquarium has been quite vocal about this issue in the past few years.  It's really disheartening and I'm glad he and his band point out which venues do this shitty practice.

    Timing. The last merch line I waited in was Wrigley 2013 for 4 hours. Never again. He didn’t understand when I told him how lucky he was. I didn’t even bother asking him to pick anything up for me because I would have felt bad if he had to wait in line for an hour

    understood....I waited zero seconds for merch at both Chicago shows. Feels good to be free :)

    Although I am considering going to Deer Creek around 9am
