My first visit to Minnesota and it didn't disappoint.  Flew in Saturday and left yesterday and was able to make it a weekend of it with my wife and youngest son.

Highlight for me was Brain Damage into I am Mine.  Loved Purple Rain - I really was expecting it after not on the setlist N1 and the location.  They crushed it and it was good to hear something different than Baba or RITFW.  My wife's favorite song is Unthought Known, so the added request made her happy.

Met someone who I've known online for over 20 years on another forum, but never met in person.  It was good to hang out with him and his friends & family prior to the show.  Had fun just shooting the shit.

Enjoyed meeting other fans during and after the show over the weekend.  Seemed like a lot of out of towners stayed at the MoA.  Good thing, because it was hot as hell over the weekend.  You Minnesotans will probably be shoveling snow soon.  Sorry for that.

If anyone has the pdf of the setlist, please PM it to me.
I have pictures of people holding up both setlists that if you PM me, I can email to you.

Amazing show. This show may be one of those that is debated a bit down the road, but it is a top three for me (16 shows). It seems like people in that number range feel it was up there more than others, but we only know what we know.

Anyway I just thought it all fit. The songs from every album was amazing. Severed Hand is about my white whale and I just was floored. I get the debate about the encore some, but people like Last Kiss and this crowd seemed to, and Jeremy fit in my mind. Plus Got Some was great. I think Purple Rain is just fine for this venue and it is certainly an awesome song. I don't want to see them add it as a staple, but I enjoyed it.

Just the whole night, I loved it. Met some cool people waiting to get in early for merch, got all that but the basketball and duffle bag which for whatever reason they can't hold enough for the second show inside, but that is another story. One guy I was with got the very last basketball at our stand (we were the first 10 people there and that was the only one), and he was so happy. I think that was great he got it.

One of my best PJ experiences last night and even though N1 didn't come close to it, this was a great trip and a great doublebill.
Severed would be great to hear

Howdy. I'm like a week late, but I made it to Minnesota for the first time ever, and I could not have had a better time in the Twin Cities than I did, I think. And if you'd like an all-too personal account of my two shows here, that's here: https://www.staticandfeedback.com/Music/1909pjmn.html

But anyway, thanks folks. My best to everyone in Indy trying to find their way through after today's news.
My name's actually Nick. Some PJ writing.

Our first Pearl Jam show September 2 St. Paul. Fifth row pit. We were standing for six plus hours; totally worth it! They played some of my favorites. Makes me happy to hear that it was outstanding even for some of you that have been to multiple shows. I didn't bother with merch until the end. Had to get in the queue to get as close as possible. I saw Eddie and the Earthlings in Chicago last February. This was the best concert I've ever seen; and I've seen tons over the years. Thanks for all your comments; maybe see some of you down the road!

I sat behind the stage for the first time in section 230.  Pretty cool getting to view all of the behind the scenes.

I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.
  • I was at all the shows this year that Matt played at and I have to say STP2 was my favorite.  Pendulum, I Am Mine, Brain Damage, In Hiding, Unthought Known, Corduroy.  And more.  Very fortunate to have seen 7 great shows and just giving a shout out to STP2 before the whole thing fades to memory.

This was probably the most fun I’ve had at any PJ show ever. The main set was fire. 🔥 And even though the encore was basically just the hits, the energy of both the band and crowd was incredible! Great show! Can’t wait for the boot.

Finally got a chance to listen to it the other day. The boot sounds great- brings me right back to being in the building. And the main set in particular is fire!

The most notable/impressive thing about that show is how they played at least one song from each album within the main set of 17 songs.
