For me night 2 was just as wonderful as night 1.  I really enjoyed wondering what they were going to play next and enjoying the set list.  Wish they didn't sell out of night two posters though.  Did not get the chance to grab one.  Nevertheless still woke up this morning with the show in my head and a smile on my face.   Which is all this girl can ask for!
10C will be selling at some point but act fast when they do as I’m betting these go quick.

  • Excellent show! Totally different energy from night 1,equally good just different. Standouts for me were DTE, Last Exit, In Hiding, Unthought Known, Got Some! Why does Eddie have to be such a damn great guy with his helping kids and charity work. I think I got something in my eye because it started watering a couple times during the encore.

What's with the repeats playing the same city?  With the catalog they have is it necessary?
They weren't repeats for the majority of the people there

I'll write up more later, but fantastic show last night. Definitely more fan songs than casual listener. I feel like Eddie's voice got stronger as the night went on. Highlights were the album opener trilogy, Got Some, Severed Hand and In Hiding (never thought I'd hear that one). Best Betterman I've ever witnessed. Ed nailed it perfectly. Amazing show and energy. I felt like they didn't want to leave the stage last night. Loved the huddle before Alive as they tried to decide which song to play next. Totally expected RITFW so I'll take Purple Rain over that any day.

    It's a hopeless situation...
  • What a night. I don’t know who had more fun, the crowd or the band. Pendulum, Off He Goes, Last Exit, In Hiding, NAIS, were highlights. Mike McCready was channeling another planet (again). He’s so f’ing entertaining, I’ll never get tired of seeing him live. I Am Mine was incredible, as was Purple Rain.
I love this band, and this community…. Eric, Marni, Jimmy, Jeff & Jess… so nice to meet you folks this week. Enjoy the rest of the tour, those of you who are continuing on.

    Great point!  Thank you!
  • Both nights were great, N2 was much more fun. Energy from the band and crowd made it one of the best shows I’ve been to (of 29).

Loved hearing Severed Hand again and that Brain Damage into I am Mine was next level. Loads of energy in the crowd & the band was on fire!
Met some great people in MN this weekend, from all over the world!
Some pics from my view 3 deep in front of Ed:

  • Ditched the hokas and went back to Jordans? He is still young folks!  =)

  • Amazing show. This show may be one of those that is debated a bit down the road, but it is a top three for me (16 shows). It seems like people in that number range feel it was up there more than others, but we only know what we know.

Anyway I just thought it all fit. The songs from every album was amazing. Severed Hand is about my white whale and I just was floored. I get the debate about the encore some, but people like Last Kiss and this crowd seemed to, and Jeremy fit in my mind. Plus Got Some was great. I think Purple Rain is just fine for this venue and it is certainly an awesome song. I don't want to see them add it as a staple, but I enjoyed it.

Just the whole night, I loved it. Met some cool people waiting to get in early for merch, got all that but the basketball and duffle bag which for whatever reason they can't hold enough for the second show inside, but that is another story. One guy I was with got the very last basketball at our stand (we were the first 10 people there and that was the only one), and he was so happy. I think that was great he got it.

One of my best PJ experiences last night and even though N1 didn't come close to it, this was a great trip and a great doublebill.

I was in GA for night 1 and floor reserved seating for night 2.

I liked night 1 better. Ignoring where I was seated, I think I like the night 1 setlist more. From Ten, I like Why Go and Black more than Once and Jeremy. I also liked the number of Vs songs from night 1.

That said I enjoyed night 2. Anytime I can see Pearl Jam its a treat. I think this is the first concert where I've heard Once, which was very fun. McCready's solo (on Evenflow IIRC) with the guitar behind him was also a highlight. Purple Rain was definitely something that I was not expecting.

Was Jeff's shirt for Duluth's Low? If so, that was a nice touch.

I thought the band sounded great and energized both nights.

The lighting looked phenomenal both nights.

Wasn't "Unthought Known" also the song that was chosen off the request list that Ed handed to people at the front of the pit in Inglewood (L.A.) last year?
I gather speed from you fucking with me.
  • 4th PJ show. Wasn’t at night 1. LOVED the show!! The crowd brought this show to the next level, it was an unreal experience. Everyone in the band sounded amazing. Setlist I thought was spectacular.

This pic is from when the crowd held up their flashlights before Ed returned to the stage to play Won’t Back Down. Super special moment, it was awesome.

I loved it. Eddie sounded great, the band was in synch and I felt the emotions in almost every song. Joy, frustration, regret, exuberance, in turn. I love Prince and Purple Rain so I thought that was a great closer. In Hiding was fantastic and Last Exit and Whoever Said were highlights for me.
Wow, it looks like you were right next to me.
I was 101, row 5, on the aisle.  You?

What a show! I thought N1 was good, but N2 blew it away. The band was on fire from start to finish. I’ve had some great times at PJ shows before, but this was honestly the most fun I’ve ever had at a PJ show. I was on the rail directly in front of Stone. The energy in the pit was out of this world. And Stone was probably the most animated I’ve ever seen him. That was one of the best main sets I’ve seen in a long time (the only main set in recent history that I think might have better was Camden). Off he goes is one of my all-times favorites, so it was great getting to see it from so close up. Mike’s guitar on NAIS was incendiary. Other highlights for me were last exit, brain damage into I am mine, severed hand, and in hiding. And although the encore was hit-heavy, they rocked the hell out of them and the crowd was wild. Such an incredible night! Plus I got a stone pic!

Hey Steven, so nice hanging out with you. I saw Stone hand you that pick - lucky. You did what I did - Mike's side night one, Stone's night two. But no Stone pick for me. Hope to hang out again soon.

Yes, that was a Low tshirt. I am sure a shout out with the recent passing of Mimi Parker.
