For people who wait in line for merch early before the show, how fast do the posters usually sell out? If merch opens at noon and I get there from work right around noon are my chances of getting posters still good?
Depends on how crazy it is at a specific place. Last year in Nashville people waited like six hours for merch, and I am sure the posters were gone by the end of that. I waited like two hours in OKC and got a poster. In Denver I got in line when it opened and they had tons of posters. It's a combination of how many people are waiting and what people think of the poster. I would say most times if you got in line at 12 you'd be OK, but it would also be a gamble.
I still have nightmares from that Nashville line.
I took one look at it and said nope. And I've never done that before.
We saw it and walked around the building to see how long it was out of curiosity. It was wrapped nearly 3/4 of the way around the building. I don't need anything that bad that would cause me to consider standing in a line like that.

It’s possible they have items held back.
Those are show specific, too, and they haven't released any of that stuff yet.

    Chicago 1 9.5.2023. Chicago 2 9.7.2023.

  • St. Louis wasn't great either for merch - waited 4-5 hrs.  If I recall a big hang up was spotty wi-fi for the CC machines.

So earlier in the year PJ had a promotion with Wrigley and the Cubs where if you bought a ticket, you got special access to a cubs jersey. Know that was probably a Wrigley thing, but couldn't Ten Club adopt that model and give ticket holders to each specific show "exclusive early access" to the merch online without having to wait in such ridiculously long lines?  Could still have the merch tents, but it would cut down on same day demand, as well as alleviate people having to lug a poster tube around with them at the show.

I say all that and sure as sh*t, I'll still be in line waiting for a poster baking in the Austin heat. LOL

Gotta love the fact that it is 2023 and bands can still get away with selling merchandise that could be designed using Microsoft Word 1996.

Like for real. Some of these shirts and hoodies are laughable.

Maybe this is a stupid question but is the duffel bag open on the side or is it just designed to look like the basketball? I like both the bag and ball but if I can get the duffel bag and it looks like part of the ball is on the side I may not need to spend a fortune on both. It also doesn’t make much sense to me to have a bag with a huge hole on the side.

The significance of the tiger is that, for the first time in a decade, it is neither a skull nor a three-eyed mutant beast, none of which had any connection to Pearl Jam. Hooray for tigers.
