I get that some people don’t enjoy or get the merch scene.  And that’s cool.  But I don’t get the motivation behind stopping in here everyday to complain about it in a thread that is dedicated to merch.  🤷🏻‍♂️
It's important to remind you that it should be about the music before they jump into a different thread and complain about the new album

It’s a nice gesture, but who would actually hang the Beth one?

The other two aren’t bad. Artists love birds…
I think it's probably a local thing. I can think of similar tributes that would be unique to Boston and might not mean as much out beyond here.

The past few Ames posters have been fantastic.
  • The jersey is great.  The Bulls poster reminds me a bit too much of one of those bad caricature drawings you get done at a state fair or amusement park.  Guess that’s the intent, but doesn’t do it for me.

But merch don’t matter—- have a great show everyone!
Yup, totally the intent! Throwback to Bulls championship days.

Those were the days….I’m a Huge Bulls fan! Wish I was there:(
They kind of did this already in 91.

Yes, I was just saying it probably resonates more for people locally even when you understand the story
  • So was the basketball/duffel only a limited thing for St Paul?

I think that's part of the "full tour" inventory and they'll just be announcing the show-specific stuff at each stop
  • Anyone in the merch line at the UC yet?? How is the line looking??
  • Is this someone other than McCready?? Looks nothing like him

    Valid
  • What’s the LATEST anyone is planning on going to the outside merch line today and realistically hoping to score anything? I wouldn’t be able to make it until about 10-10:30 but if it’s already half a block long I’m not sure it’s worth trying at that point.

I was wondering this too. I told myself I wasn't going to worry about getting merch, but, speaking as a child of the 90's, those Bulls shirts/posters were designed for me. Now I'm kicking around the idea of driving down to the UC "during lunch." But I can't stand in line for an hour plus. So I think I'm going to have to let it go.

Fiancé and I were saying the same thing.

That said, still iso someone to pick up this shirt and poster for me. Happy to send payment asap.

Beth’s family and friends. Still, it’s better than Night One in St. Paul.

  • If anyone is able to get that lion sticker and/or a license plate for me i'd be super thankful.  I'm coming to Noblesville and can meet up there or send via online payment with shipping info.  I'd also take a bird poster but i'm not gonna push my luck. I'll also be in Chicago Saturday afternoon if that makes things easier.  THANKS in advance and enjoy the show tonight everyone!

I've lived here my entire life and never once heard anyone reference the Hawk as a term for Chicago.

It's a black hawk holding a hockey stick at a concert played at the United Center, where the Chicago Blackhawks play hockey.

No doubt, I didn’t notice the hockey stick on the little picture but see it now. ‘The hawk’ is a term for the winter winds in Chicago in some circles.

I think the Hawk is Algonquin for "The Good Land"

Are there any references to the Native people? If it’s just a bird, what a bad and wrong take.

The line in St Paul did not move fast, day 1 got there an hour before open, took 4 hours to get to the front.  The line in Chicago already looks longer from the earlier picture.  Also almost everything show specific was gone by the time I got to the front.  Stickers and buttons were gone as I got up there.

The only thing that was there was the N1 poster, but then again there were still stacks of those at the end of N2 and I never saw them sell out anywhere outside or inside….
