I know I'm in the minority within this fanbase on my political views. I was lock step with most of you but as I have grown older and wiser and starting asking more questions I found myself leaving the left. The one question I have that just fascinates me when did the Left become this BIG Pharma shill? You question nothing from them and just swallow it? This is an industry that gets sued probably the most. Also if you took the mRNA shot you had to sign a consent form...wtf!!!!Who would do that? Did you have any questions about the vaccines? Also why is Autism everywhere? I've been coaching my sons baseball team for 10 years. The amount of kids with ADHD, Peanut allergies and overall looking comfortably numb is half the team!!!!. I'm just shocked the party I once called home is in lock step with BIG PHARMA.

People aren't "Pharma shills" they are science and evidence based shills. You know, like an educated person should be. Pharma follows the science. Yes, they are motivated by money and certainly rake it in (I don't think you'll find ANYONE on the left defending Pharma pricing and profits - thus pointing out the logic flaws in your 'older and wiser and asking more questions' approach), but the scientific method doesn't miss. 

I think the only thing we've seen an uptick in the past 10 years that we seriously need to sound the alarm about are the increase in cases of Correlation = Causation, which IS a real problem and needs to be dealt with.

World wide numbers. 1 in 127 people are autistic. Right off the bat that number doesn't make you have any questions? That number is up from 2019 which was 1 in 271. It's also doubles in males compared to females.

No. because we've attained a lot more understanding of autism, developed a spectrum and are able to diagnose people better. de stigmatizing mental health issues have made people more comfortable to pursue assessments and develop treatment plans with their health care provider. 

Are maybe some drugs OVER prescribed, possibly. But they are not the cause of the underlying issues.

Yes, it does raise questions and there’s valid answers to those questions. Too bad there’s leas research going to happen on its causes thanks to the recent cuts in funding.

There were previous vax mandates, so not new, but it was expanded to affect more people.

It amazes me that some folks can't grasp that the percentage of folks with autism hasn't risen significantly over time, but the definition and diagnosis of the disease has evolved to where we now know that some folks have levels of it which would not have been previously defined as on the autism spectrum.

The COVID Vax mandates were wrong. Full stop.

I'm still on the left because I like a social safety net. I want to protect LGBTQ kids (well, people). I want to protect the environment. What I don't like is fighting so one man and his family and close allies can have all the power. And un-marked thugs slamming people to the street. And government officials' families making crap-tons of money. And the death of checks-and-balances.

That the anti-vax movement went from left-wing hippies to right-wing fear mongers is not relevant to how I vote.
