A backwards show, anyone?

How many minds would blow if Mike opened a show with the opening notes to YLed? One show had RIFTW as an opener. We've had Crazy Mary and Baba O'Riley near the start.
But not just a closer as an opener. Hear me out.
Part of the challenge would definitely be to get the flow right.
Yellow Ledbetter
Baba O'Riley
Alive
Crown of Thorns
Faithful
Jeremy
Lukin
Red Mosquito
Whipping
Even Flow
Buckle Up
Wishlist
Never Destination
Porch
-----
River Cross
Betterman on pump organ
Black (ala that version with Boom.)
Sirens
Elderly Woman
Footsteps
Pendulum

Well if Buckle Up and River Cross are part of that set list, count me out.0

With 22 song setlists, I don't need to hear either of these songs live.mookieblalock said:Well if Buckle Up and River Cross are part of that set list, count me out.0

Still would be a fun show mixing it up end to start.0

It was a hypothetical setlist. Fill in whatever songs you want as long as it's backwards.
Indifference as an opener probably blew some minds.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0

I’ve wondered why they always to YL as a closer. I know some wary shows it was mixed in mid set, but not too many times.
Would be cool to throw that in somewhere other than the end.0

I've only ever seen of it as the last or penultimate song. It kind of makes sense with the lyrics and the theme...plus Mike's tag.
I'm not sure I'd want it at any other place.
Of course we're all aware of the backwards Mamason which is quite rare.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0

Based on that setlist we couldn’t hang. I’m sure you are nice but sirens and buckle up on a 9 show tour? Think about what you did.- Red Rocks '95, second night starting on chairs

Wasn't Live at the Garden also a CM opener?
I'm thinking Boston 94 was one of those YL shows.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0

I'm always amazed at how many people can't make it a show without peeing.
I basically get 1 chance to pee at work every day. Can easily go 4-5 hours.0

maybe they're drinking a lot or have small bladders? But yeah i'm with you I can go to a show without peeing.mace1229 said:I'm always amazed at how many people can't make it a show without peeing.

 It's gotta be the drinking.
But that's also why the opening band exists. Get in early and do that stuff then.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0
