Muse is doing a European tour in the summer. Would be cool to see them head to the states in the fall and open for PJ
Muse is a very mediocre band without the $1B stage show.

You obviously don't like garage rock or fuzz guitar. the 1b stage show just adds to everything  ;)

Correction, Muse is a very mediocre *live* band without the $1B stage show. However, I have seen them 5-6 times, so I clearly love the $1B stage show. The Drones tour was one of the most amazing things I have seen.

I love that openers are back.

Turnstile, The Mars Volta, Baroness, Bad Religion would all be great.  I know it wouldn’t happen but I would love if it was someone heavy like Gatecreeper.  Would be fun to watch people squirm a bit.

Interesting idea but their UK tour dates this summer run up until just a few days before the PJ shows, and they’re getting pretty old for that kind of thing https://www.thewho.com/tour/

I vote for Garbage. They're doing a summer tour with Noel Gallagher and i believe it's possible
God no, only thing worse would be Sonic Youth

LOL I love SY but its hilarious to me how much people who dont like them REALLY FUCKING HATE THEM. I've been accused by more than one person for "pretending to like them because its cool" because they literally could not fathom how anyone would enjoy Sonic Youth. Y'all are missing out. Love Garbage as well

Pretty unlikely and I’m not sure if she already has dates but I’d love Laura Jane Grace or Against Me! as an opener. Haven’t they played shows with PJ before. Maybe they were just festival shows

In St. Paul, it should definitely be The Replacements. Everyone is all like “Ooooo Prince. I can’t wait to go to Chanhassen!” But you all forget about the greatest band to come out of Minneapolis.
    6/30/98 -- Minneapolis
10/8/00 -- East Troy (The Ice Bowl)
    6/16/03 -- St. Paul
    5/16/06 -- Chicago

Disagree.  Saw them throughout the years on many different stages and venues.  Always fantastic live.

as much as I love Ed solo, I'd prefer a PJ side project, like Painted Shield or 3rd Secret.
new album "Cigarettes" out Spring 2025!
