So the people who are collecting these tickets like trading cards - when is the time that they start releasing the seats they can’t use for bargaining? 2 weeks out? 1 week out?

Depends how good the seats are. Don't want to get stuck with something mediocre, but GA will always sell instantly until show time. I traded an OKC GA for Denver GA on the day of the show last year. Bought Camden GA on the ride to the venue after the opener was already on stage

    This.

Heading to only Indy. Leery of going there without a ticket in hand, but last year I upgraded 3 of my 4 Canada shows while I was in Canada. Bought a better reserved seat in Toronto after I already got in with my original seat lol. Gave someone else a screenshot of my old seat, let them sit there.

Was there a large influx for Camden? Because for Indy, that is the only comparable.

Large influx in the sense that new listings would pop up regularly throughout the day and lawn tickets might have even lingered for awhile but not large enough that pavilion seats could be grabbed at your leisure

I’d call that a slow trickle!

Check out this thread. @danofun helpfully documented almost every drop. I went back to page 4, which goes from May to August with virtually no activity. Then from page 5 on, two weeks until the show it picks up quite a bit.

@SHZA is right. Nearly everyone is available to attend a show 6 months in advance. As the show dates approach, plans change. Right now it’s a slow trickle. The faucet really opens a few weeks before the show. Plus, all the Premiums that do t sell will eventually sell for face value.

Camden was the most sought after ticket in 2022. Tons of opportunities from a few weeks out all the way up to showtime.

This year, Nobelsville is the toughest ticket to grab. When we get closer to September we’ll give Nobelsville 2023 the same treatment we gave Camden 2022.
