    Must have been a lot
    I wouldn't be surprised to find out these releases don't quite fly off the shelves the way they used to, even four or five years ago. Could be that there were more in circulation, but also could be that there isn't as much interest.
    I know some people passed on it because it wasn't the full show.
    That's a shame since it's a special release that never happened a while back (that sounds damn good, too)

    People may pass on it because it's expensive, an incomplete show, and really good digital bootlegs have been available for years.

    …and because it goes on sale in the middle of the night.

    I passed just due to the cost, $78 all in to the UK for something I picked up for £32 at the weekend in a different colour. I would have preferred the clear vinyl but can’t justify the extra layout. I’ll keep more funds in my touring pot for when Europe is next on the cards.

    Nooo! That can’t be it, can it?  I was checking the site and my email all day yesterday but not between 1 and 5 pm EST.  This just torpedoed my collection.  I don’t have every PJ vinyl, but - up until now - I do have every live album and every Jack Irons album. And now I have neither. And I lost sleep last night as a result.

    Thanks Santos! I ordered one of each. The CD says variant, can you tell us the difference from the regular RSD CD?
    @Santos L. Halper

    The CDs were sold out on RSD, so I haven't seen the regular one in person, to compare.

    CDs are identical, supposedly.
    On the RSD website the CD was listed as ' RSD FIRST ' which means they will be released commercially later on. You're just one of the first people to get it on RSD.

    I think it's means they could repress if they wanted too.  I don't think it means they have plans to do so.   I think there's a fair amount of RSD first's that never got reissues.  It's like creating a loophole in case you want to.

    On the flip side, being RSD exclusive isn't cut and dry either.   I think unplugged got a repressing, and there's a few other's i've run into that have.

    I guess there's no RSD police and you can do what you want regardless if you but RSD First or RSD Exclusive.  It's more like a guideline :)
    Oh, there is indeed an RSD police...they are the gatekeepers and control all...it's like the Illuminati but with fresher robes....

    Not sure how it works with CD's but RSD First when it comes to vinyl means that the RSD version will be limited (and likely color vinyl) but it will be pressed in unlimited quantities (likely black vinyl) at a future date.
