I am into this, i feel good about my chances lol.  Im up to bench pressing the bar now like 2-3 times.. in a row!

Ya know what? I am an idiot AND a complete glutton for punishment. So I am deciding to hold out hope for PIT tickets during my seat reassignments. Otherwise, I'm waiting to get worse seats. I'm not complaining or anything, just intentionally giving myself false hope for the next few days. See you in the PIT at Chi 1 mofos!!!!

I was actually thinking the exact same thing.  So funny.  It's totally not legit, but I'm only going to be happy if I get Pit or first row on one of those side sections.  I'm 294,000, so not likely.

If they sell all the premium seats they can build 400 and 500.

Your seat reassignment isn't going to put you in pit no matter what number you are. You'll get another seat.

Same situation in OKC last year. Had an absolute blast!

Had GA for both L.A shows, Oakland N1, QC, OTT and Hamilton last year.   Walked in between 6:30-7:00pm for every show.  Was 2nd row Mikes side at best and 8 rows Eddie at worst. 

   It all depends on what you want.  Personally what I do works for me.

I know. I'm just opting to have a couple of days of false hope rather than waiting to see my reassigned seats in the 300 level. Yes, I know it is futile, but fun to imagine in the meantime.

Piss yourself or lose your spot............. I thought most people up there don't drink, I've never had the desire to camp out, not drink or use the restroom, so not sure all the rules.  To each their own.  I'm sure it is awesome and once in a lifetime experience but for me not worth all the trouble to get there.

I have GA tix for STP N1. Back in the day I may have waited in line to secure a better spot, but I'll just be happy to be there on the floor and not worry about what I have to drink. I'll probably walk in there slightly early but not going to stress about pushing and shoving myself up close. My wife is on the shorter side, though, so it may be hard for her to see anything. She's 5'2. I want her to have a great experience. Will she see ok? any suggestions? She also has a small bladder, lol, so waiting in line for hours, etc. is probably out of the question...haha. Anyway, we'll have a blast, I'm sure! 

Just hang out towards the back of GA and you (or your wife) can see a lot better and you're basically in the 15th or 20th row with room to move, can get out for drinks and bathroom, and the sound is slightly better than way up front.  We did that in OKC in 2013 and it was nice.  I had GA for St Paul in 2014 and went solo and it was nice to have a good view of the whole band (and still felt close when Eddie came into the crowd).  They allow enough room for the back 1/3 of GA to be pretty spaced out and being further from people allows a better view for short people (I'm 5'6" so floor seats or GA present challenges for seeing!).

Thank you! This is the info I was looking for! I really want my wife to have an awesome experience and we've only had reserved seats in the last couple of PJ shows we've been to. Both of us used to go to GA shows back in the 90s, and those were the days of mosh pits and body surfing. She could get a great view back in those days riding the crowd...lol. But those days are behind us. haha. I'm 6' tall, so I'm more concerned about blocking the view of someone behind me. Jeez, now I'm sounding old. No matter what, we are going to have a blast! Can't wait!

I had GA in Chicago 2018. I am 5ft 3. Some ppl slept overnight for rail..not me i rolled in at 5pm, but then we had storms and we all had to leave GA and wait it out..it was a madhouse when thye let us back in but I was maybe 8 or so rows back on Stone's side and although I had some issues seeing certain band members at times, for the most part I could wiggle to get a view between heads.

You are probably posting this to make the case that PJ represents excellent value.  Which they do.  However, the Aerosmith pricing is actually more fair.  If you’re in the nosebleeds or behind the stage you don’t pay as much as someone in the best seats in the house.  At the very least I would like to see PJ introduce two price points.  Something simple like add $20 to the price of lowers and subtract $20 from uppers, or some similar numbers that would leave total revenue the same.  That way if someone gets dumped into an upper in the draw at least it buys a couple of beers for their misfortune.
