Just received this email from Ticketstoday:

Ten Club is sharing an update to all Ten Club reserved seat ticket holders.

On Friday May 5th, Ticketmaster will complete the adjustments needed for the seniority-based seating process and send out an email soon after with your correct seat assignment. Ticketmaster will not need to transact on your card to finalize this process.

We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing a record breaking number of members at these shows.

This is all a bit ridiculous...high time for the band, management and Ticketmaster to acknowledge they messed this up and move on. U2 just sold roughly 300K tickets for their Vegas residency (at a brand new venue no less) with nary an issue. U2 have a massive fan club with presale obligations to manage...yet they did so deftly and with clarity.
Absolutely nothing in this post is true.  I was notified 4 times that there was an error and that things were being corrected.  And others are being “respectful” about telling you that U2 went through the same issue.  Where do you get your info-Fox news?

I miss those days when winning reserve seating and getting tickets at the box office day off.  Now some are crying like three year olds over spilled milk.

They have acknowledged it. They are working on correcting it.

    Try to keep up.
  • For what it's worth, I've updated the Google Form and Spreadsheet so it has entry boxes for each of the 3 seat assignments.

    Form:
    https://forms.gle/9jQuJkJ951iqqP7Y8

    Spreadsheet Results:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1C50w_rrKfSeaik-JGAlYZwazYEKecwZ8o1M07GCcLnc/edit?usp=sharing

Anyone who has already entered their info previously can use the link they got sent in their email to go back and add their 2nd and (tomorrow) 3rd assignment. Then we can all see how it all ended up I guess.

I got it from Alan Cross; well respected music journalist in the community. And it wasn't the exact same issue we're encountering with Pearl Jam, but there were bumps in the road.

This exactly. Shows are like 4 months out. As long as they get the seating straight you're getting what you were promised albeit with some turbulence. I'm certain they're not having a grand ol' time with all of this.

I remember the Chicago 09 had some terrible seat locations that you didn’t find out until the day of the show, at least now you would know and could look for an upgrade

I was seriously sitting here wondering why I had an "A" code and other people on Aerosmith forums had "B" "C" and "D" codes.. and I just signed up a year ago.  Looks like everyone has an "A" code now.

That's the great thing about a farewell tour.

I having a feeling more and more legs will be announced.  Similar to how Elton John & KISS are doing their farewell tours. Milk it as long as they can.

Remember the Motely Crue farewell tour where they signed contracts to never perform as Motley Crue again? Somebody who paid $$ to see that one Better Call Saul.

Cher's farewell tour started in 2001 and ended 3 years ago.

Plenty of padding between dates, going to keep ticketmaster open and refresh the dates every so often tomorrow and be ready to pounce if/when they add a second or third date to some of their stops.

Speaking of Aerosmith (and I rarely do), what is the deal with all the drummers being MIA? Lars Ullrich, Joey Kramer, Larry Mullen. They must be hitting an age wall.

Drumming is Hard.. and more a younger mans game.. more like a sports athlete then singing or playing guitar ..

In the Aerosmith case, there's been an ongoing dispute between him and the band about how capable he is at this point. It's a real bummer when things come to that.

At some point it has to go to that. Right now there is no incentive for anyone to join 10c. Why would someone join now when they can just F2F? Most bands eliminate the seniority thing at a point. And PJ should be doing it soon. The fanclubs primary purpose is good tickets. Even people who have been in or back in for the last 5 ton10 years can't get good seats

What would be the incentive of me staying in the club if they got rid of seniority?  I think the mass exodus of 20+ year members would hurt them more than the new people they add because of it.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Last I checked, Lars Ulrich is currently drumming on tour with Metallica in Europe. Their new album is one of the heaviest yet and he seems to be doing just fine. I think drummers do need to keep themselves fit on a level of an athlete though. Guitar playing and being the front man of a rock band selling out to stadiums also isn't exactly easy either if you want to do more than just stand their and play, which would suck the energy right out of the room. Or they can just completely let themselves go, like Vince Neil, and become a bloated, mumbling caricature of their former selves.

Dave Navarro is sitting out the current Jane's Addiction tour due to health reasons too.

I didn't go see them at the Xcel a few months ago because of that. Navarro's sound is too much of the definitive sound of the band. The fill in guitar player seemed to do a fine job, but it just sounded like an imitation.
