Let’s discuss your favorite deli sandwich. Nate ‘N Als in Los Angeles. Perfection. Their pastrami sandy was unreal.

I always pack lunch for work, but I think I'm going to have to go get a sub today... Lol

There is a Texas top 50 bbq place here in Houston that does a smoked brisket Ruben on Thursdays. It is worth standing in that line (bonus points if you go for 11 am and skip it).

Roegels bbq if anyone in Houston is reading up on their sammiches while waiting to hear about a September road trip.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Lunch before noon is always the best lunch.

It’s a local chain in Alabama/Georgia area but Momma Goldberg’s makes a Momma’s Love steamed sub sammich that I very much enjoy.

Roegels is very very good.  You should also try Tejas Chocolate in Tomball.  It is really really good and i think is on the BBQ list as well.

Given how many shows they have to get through today, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see results start trickling in at 9am eastern. I won't be at all surprised if we don't see them then, either, but it's more fun to be optimistic.

I boycotted Subway after that whole foot long debacle. “The sandwiches are not a foot long, it’s only a term for intended unit of measurement.”

The Hal Craig mentioned in the history of Momma Goldberg’s was a childhood friend of mine! Great sandwiches!

I'll NEVER go near that scum bag Jimmy John's after seeing that he's one of those disgusting big game hunters that shoots defenseless animals to try to prove what a "man" he is.....wouldn't care if it was the only sub place in the worls

It's what McDonald's is to cheeseburgers. No one ever gets a craving for a cheeseburger and thinks, "McDonald's...YES!" But people do sometimes crave McDonald's for what it is. Subway is the same. It's not a great sandwich, it's Subway, and that can sometimes be just what you want.

Tejas has been on my list to get to for a while... But haven't made it out there.

I live across the street from gatlins and Pinkerton's is a stones throw away... Pinkerton's is Uber expensive, but oh so good...

I've only ever been to the roegels on voss - next to my old work - but the one in Katy is the same people, so I assume similar quality. Worth trying for sure.

Exactly.  It's like having a steak dinner every night but eventually you're gonna want to go to Taco Bell.
