  • Anyone have an opinion on the Courtland grand hotel? Didn’t want to tie up money on a hotel during Christmas season so I was waiting to score tickets. Now that I did I grabbed a room here this morning. Seems nice and less than a 20 min walk to the arena.

  • I'll just make a blanket post rather than reply to everyone individually about lodging. If you are coming for more than one night, I recommend NOT staying in the downtown area and/or near State Farm Arena.  :)

The food and drink options in Midtown (first) and Buckhead (second) are well worth the hassle of taking MARTA (our "metro") or Uber. If you can spring for an AirBnB in VA Highlands, that's great too (no hotels there--except maybe the Clermont :) ). If you are just flying in for one night for a show, then go for it. But if you're staying for 2-4 nights, I highly recommend staying in either of the 3 areas above.

I appreciate this thanks! My hotel is refundable so I'll look around at those areas in the next month or two but wanted to get something locked in. Flying in from Chicago Monday the 28th and flying back out Friday after night 2

I'd recommend side-of-street parking near the Tabernacle.  Short 5-minute walk thru traffic after the show, and then you're out of there

Is that metered and if so is there a time limit?

Metered, think fees end at 10pm, can replenish on phone if initial max payment ends before 10pm

Lot of uppers for N1 available.  N2 is pretty much sold out except for the dreaded premiums.

Weird that there is such disparity between 2 weeknights.

Ya it is.  Nashville is the same way too. For the travelers, it's probably easier to do a Thursday instead of a Tuesday. Thats why I can only do Nashville 2.

Strange. I used it for the Stone's show last June. There was a parking deck on the other side of the park for $15 from 4pm-12am.

Would love a heads up before you drop these if it's not a bother. Thanks.
