Hello everyone! I‘m planning to vistit one of the
wrigley shows. What would you propose? GA or seating (far away from the stage?)?
The GA pit for Wrigley is huge, so your odds are pretty good for GA. That said, I think it all comes down to your "priority" of shows. Personally, if the rumored dates are solidified via an official announcement, I'm requesting GA for the 29th. The fact that it's on a Thursday might make the odds a tad better than the Saturday show (I got Monday GA back in 2018 but declined for Saturday GA).

Of course, with my luck, I'm sure the weather will be beautiful on 8/31 but torrential rain/lighting on 8/29.

    I wouldn’t go that far.

  • I've never been able to get GA for Wrigley.  But maybe this year with more shows all over, it will be easier.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.
  • I got GA there...probably the best way to go but damn it was crowded. It was really hard to get around if you needed out to use the restroom so we just hung out on Mike's side at the edge of the crowd.

I really don't like going to Wrigley for concerts.

If you mean travelling between each show in order. Dublin to Manchester would be a very short flight and ryanair would be the cheapest airline. Train between Manchester and London

Had GA for both Wrigley shows in 18'. Night 2 was definitely tighter since they stopped checking tickets/wristbands after the delay. Still a great experience for both nights.

I had GA for both in 16 and 18.... can get scary trying to get out the back. After storm in 18 we ended up at exactly same spot we started after the rain delay

What place does OG stand for?  Looks lovely.
Ocean Grove, NJ. It’s a really nice, quiet beach town right next to Asbury Park. And Days Ice Cream has some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I highly recommend a visit!
My go to combo is the graham cracker crunch and chocolate midnight cookie.

Apologies if this has already been covered, but are the 2 London dates more than likely going to be festival shows?

Opinions are mixed. Most people think it will be two shows at the O2, some think it will be Hyde Park again. Who knows!

Hi D - hope you make it over to Ireland and England next year! For trains use the CrossCountry website service: https://www.crosscountrytrains.co.uk

You can book upto 90 days in advance of the day/time you want to travel for cheaper tickets. For example, travelling from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston tomorrow is approx £57.00 (one way), whereas 90 days from now (next March) is £28.00 (one way).  Takes about 2 hours for the journey and there are trains every 30 mins or so. Then just use the Tube when you get into London to get to wherever you need.

Yeah, but buying those 10C gold circle tickets for both nights was easy peasy. I sold mine due to copious Gigaton tour attendance in North America, but would definitely make it this time around.

This is good advice. However, the main train operating company between Manchester and London is Avanti West Coast.
They often offer cheaper fares via their website than are available through others.
Most train operating companies will sell tickets for others journeys, but offers may be restricted to their own.
You can book via Avanti at https://www.avantiwestcoast.co.uk/.
It can also be worth looking into split ticketing to see if you can save money. www.trainsplit.com for this.

Flights from Dublin to Manchester represent the cheapest route. However, if you've a couple of days to spare or wanted to explore North Wales, a ferry from Dublin to Holyhead is cheap as a foot passenger, www.irishferries.com or www.stenaline.co.uk for these. There is a rail service between Holyhead, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, served by Avanti (website as above) or Transport for Wales at www.tfw.wales.
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits

Nope no dates (at least from what I’ve seen on here). Just a rumor that they were planning a show in the Buffalo area, and that it had something to do with a proposed name for the new album. I think that’s all the info we have.
