Such a strange move.  HBO is one of the most recognized brands in TV history...not sure why they'd go away from it.  Max makes me think of Cinemax and those awful softcore porn movies from the 90s.
Are you saying you didn't watch Lady Chatterly's Lover when you were in the 7th grade at a buddy's house in the middle of the night?  We made sure we stayed at houses with Cinemax.
    oh hell yeah....and Emmanuelle

wasn't fucking Batman in Lady Chatterly?   Adam West that is
I'm not sure if I'm impressed or mortified by your memory, but you are correct sir.

Finally finished the second half of the movie. Really enjoyed it. The Detroit Tiger references were cool. Had a couple Al Kaline mentions, a couple nice Tiger Stadium shots, and of course a few scenes of Maris jacking homers against Tigers pitching, lol.

Only bad part of movie was the scenes of McGuire at beginning and end. Made me wanna vom.🤢

Thomas Jane and Barry Pepper do a great job in that. And Billy Crystal directing! And yes, boo on McGuire.

Funny, I picture Billy Crystal in his Mets hat doing a film about the Yankees, lol. Yeah, I didn’t even realize most the movie was actually filmed at the old Tiger Stadium. I’ll have to read up on that some more. 🤙🏻

He's a Yankees fan but his character in City Slickers was a Mets fan.

So I'm guessing we'll have to download a new app with the name change? Got the email saying they're going to transfer my info to Max.

I think the app will just update. All of your lists and where you are in watching shows will just transfer over.

So yeah....Love & Death is an excellent series.

I had no idea that it was based on a true story and that there was also a series on Hulu about the same story called "Candy".

There are two episodes left on the HBO series. May 11 and May 18 are the release dates.

Do yourself a favor and resist looking up the story. I caved and researched it yesterday prior to watching episodes 3 and 4. I wish I hadn't done that but I will say that the HBO series follows the facts very well.

Fucking insane story. I can't believe I wasn't aware of it before because I love true crime.

If you really want to do it right....prepare to watch episodes 1-5 a few days prior to the final episode on May 18 and then watch the final in real time.

Did you like True Detective on HBO?  Thought season 1 and 3 were excellent.

I didn't know a season 4 was coming.  Good to know.  After the long break, I have high hopes for something extraordinary.  That's how I think of S1.  It blew me away.
