    I don’t think anyone here from the left is putting a Cheney on a pedestal, and it’s hard to ignore the significance (and proven strategy) of a permission structure that could pull from Republican or Independent cohorts.

    The rumours were that if you donated the max to get the little metal police badge shield thing to affix to your rear license plate, you wouldn’t get a ticket if you were pulled over. I never tried buying one as I’m not a sucker like that.

    I do not think anyone is putting Cheney on a pedestal nor do I think his endorsement moves the needle at all. Again, I typically try to stick to very narrow points and this is just an amusing observation. I'm not even saying there's any hypocrisy.

    “Fifty all new stunning digital trading cards — it’s really something,” Trump says in the ad. “These cards show me dancing and even holding some bitcoins.”
    Buy 15 or more of the digital cards, he said, and he would mail a single physical trading card. Those came with a special perk: “An authentic piece of my suit that I wore for the presidential debate.” Five of the suit pieces would even be autographed, he promised. Those willing to buy 75 of the cards — at a total cost of $7,425 — were invited to attend a gala dinner at his country club in Florida, he said. “Let’s have fun together,” he said.
    On Tuesday, he again took to Truth Social for another post: selling a book — $99 without his autograph, $499 with his autograph — of pictures of himself. “A MUST HAVE on U.S. History,” he called it.
    In both cases, the money was not going to his campaign but to for-profit ventures he earns millions from promoting. No presidential candidate has ever so closely linked his election with personal for-profit enterprises, selling a staggering array of merchandise that includes signed Bibles where he receives a royalty for hawking them, pricey sneakers, gold necklaces, cryptocurrency cards, pens, books, licensing fees on overseas properties and more.

    It would be awesome to see this race end up a Harris landslide with like a 52 - 44 national vote split and an EC blow out. I won't get my hopes up, but I really hope that people make it known they want this clown show to take his circus act and disappear forever. The sign shows Trump gripping an American flag along with a target over his face. Another billboard asks, “WILL THEY TRY TO ASSASSINATE PRESIDENT TRUMP AGAIN?” A third shows Harris with red horns and states “DEMOCRATS KILL BABIES AND DREAMS.”

    In an interview with The Post, the businessman and Army veteran said there was “nothing inflammatory whatsoever” about his signs. Later, however, he seemed to acknowledge that his emotions outweighed his honesty.
