Best version of In My Tree ever. Release opens. Just such a good show. So many good memories of blasting those cassettes while waiting for the 98 summer tour
Forgot what day this was, now I'm going to be on vacation that weekend. I'll be close to Orlando, anyone know of any good stores in that area?
Rock and Roll Heaven. It lives up to the name. One of my all time favorite places.
Thanks!

The Ten Club is releasing this never-before seen performance of “Do The Evolution” from Pearl Jam’s infamous Give Way performance in Melbourne Australia, on March 5th, 1998. Watch the full-length clip in the “Inside” video page on pearljam.com!
Was just looking at the list. Soul Asylum is releasing their MTV unplugged. I don't remember that show, was it any good?
Thanks for pointing this out - love Soul Asylum. I forgot they even did an Unplugged- can't wait to check it out! Sorry, i don't have an answer to your question, but I'm assuming it's pretty good as they are/were always awesome live every time I saw them. Was so bummed when they played a local brewery here in town and i missed it bc i was out of town...

RnR Heaven is a great store BUT... they don't do RSD much anymore & their old stuff has been picked over for years.
Park Ave. CDs has a decent selection of old stock & always orders big for RSD. East West Records is the closest to Disney. They have decent stock, too. Hope this helps!

My favorite unofficial bootleg was Down Under Again. It's so good. Thank you Taz Records.

Will Give Way be released as MP3 / FLAC files?
I know I was born and I know that I'll die. The in between is mine.
Good question as it's not a vinyl-only release. I'm not aware of the band ever releasing a digital version of the Third Man Records show which was a vinyl-only release (as far as I know).
1992: 7/25 Denver, CO (Lollapalooza) 1993: 11/30 Las Vegas, NV (Vault #5) - 12/1 Las Vegas, NV 1998: 7/11 Las Vegas, NV 2000: 10/22 Las Vegas, NV (10th anniversary) 2003: 4/1 Denver, CO 2006: 7/3 Denver, CO 2014: 10/22 Denver, CO 2020: 4/11 Phoenix, AZ 2022: 5/9 Phoenix, AZ - 5/20 Las Vegas, NV
It's kind of moot. Even if they don't it's getting a CD release, so mp3/flac's will be easy to find. Just like you can go find it on mp3 and flac right now

Awesome, great clip! Now, release footage of the whole show. Cmon TC you know you want to! I was at the first Melbourne show of that leg.
I was also at the first Melbourne show of that leg. We seem to have been at multiple Melbourne shows at the same time!

I remember watching it back when it came out & it was decent. Might have to grab this too because it features a lot from Grave Dancer's Union, which is a great album.
I found out a couple of days ago that I need to be somewhere RSD morning and won't be able to go the record store. Luckily I have a friend who will be going and is going to try to pick me up a few releases. He always ends up getting in line at the store earlier than me, so it might actually increase my chance of getting what I am looking for. I am hoping to get Give Way, Isbell/Shires and the Black Keys live record. Possibly the Pixies live too if they have any copies.

Sorry if this is a dumb question - but who's the guy that comes on stage next to Stone and sings the "Hallelujah" part with Stone and Jeff?
Not a dumb question, so hard to tell, but logic seems to say it would be Craig Wedren of Shudder to Think. They opened. He sings. He is bald. Seems the most likely fit.

I got the live Pixies from Coachella last year, so I didn't think too much about getting another live Pixies release, until I read the description and saw they play Doolittle all the way through.

Recorded during Pearl
Jam’s March 5 1998 Melbourne Park show during the Australian tour in
support of their fifth studio album Yield, the highly sought after Give
Way is released on vinyl for the first time as well as officially
released on CD. The 17-track album, pressed on double black vinyl and
housed in a gatefold sleeve, includes live versions of “Given To Fly”,
“Faithfull” and “Do The Evolution.” The CD, originally scheduled for
release in 1998 as a promotional item, never saw the light of day
outside of an extremely limited number surfacing over the years...until
now. #recordstoreday #vinyl #pearljam
Debating whether to get out early (nice and early and pick this up). I really want to but don’t want to be disappointed if I miss out. Not sure what RSD is like here in Aus!? and how early to line up if necessary. A store I buy from is a good drive (45mins).
