Just a little mix up with classified documents mixed in with personal effects, newspapers, magazines, you know, hats and tee shirts, maybe the odd coffee mug or two. Or as Chris would lead you to believe, “just POOTWH’s ego, you know, ‘look what I have everyone, wanna see.’” Normal.
I’m not sure why you seem so loathsome about Christie running. He doesn’t stand a winning chance and he harms Trump. Isn’t that right up your alley? Democrats shouldn’t care how the right is weakened if it comes with no adverse impact.
I agreed till Joe Lieberman showed up!
And this year if may be Manchin.

Why is it always a Joe?

He’s up by 30 points Chris might take some of his voter block but not enough to do any real damage in the primaries and once he’s the nominee most of those voters will fall in line and vote Red! Just my opinion

he is not a credible witness. i doubt they would make a deal with him because he simply cannot be believed or taken seriously. they make a deal with him, he gives them dirt and it is not true, he commits perjury and then the case can be thrown out. do not trust him for one second.

His statements will either be corroborated by other multiple witness statements or documents or a combination. He may have already given “sworn statements” whereas if what he’s stated turns out to be false, he’s committed perjury, wouldn’t be given a deal and would be charged with perjury, obstruction and whatever original charges he was facing. In addition, “the deal,” if it exists, likely is a reduction in time in prison and not immunity from prosecution.

Ruddy Ghouliani is in a very difficult place and Jack Mack and the Heart Attacks aren’t fucking around. His team aren’t going to commit rookie mistakes like allowing prosecution witness testimony to blow the whole thing up.

you don't think trump's attorneys can dismantle and destroy rudy's testimony? i know trump has the worst attorneys that he can get, but anybody on the defense should have dirt on rudy or be able to show that he is not credible and should not be believed.

Because Chris is a POS and was POOTWH before POOTWH. He’s irredeemable in my eyes and can go fuck himself. You completely missed my point. I specifically said that he doesn’t stand a winning chance (aka would not be a leader). But sure, criticize a guy who’s too weak to earn power, but strong enough to damage your opponents.
Chris isn’t doing any damage to POOTWH. His popularity among repubs hasn’t slipped at all. Chris is partly responsible for creating POOTWH and his “criticism” of same is falling on deaf ears. Excuse me for not being impressed.

In the context of the nomination that’s probably correct, trump is the likely nominee.

but to have Christie and Hutchinson on the debate stage both blasting away at trump and his insurrection, could have enormous value in the general election. A slippage of five percent of his supporter base would be catastrophic to his chances in the general.

an early tell could be if trump skips the first debate thinking he is untouchable , but then shows up to the following debates .

an early tell could be if trump skips the first debate thinking he is untouchable , but then shows up to the following debates .
trump cannot win the general. his only hope is to win in a few key states.

he has proven he cannot win the general, and he has gotten less and less popular in 8 years. the gop knows this.

Because Chris is a POS and was POOTWH before POOTWH. He’s irredeemable in my eyes and can go fuck himself. His time to speak truth to shamelessness and insurrection was in 2015, not being a lapdog. Fuck him as he’d still vote POOTWH or third party when POOTWH is the nominee. That’s not the leadership ‘Murica needs.

I hope you are right, but the reason trumps steal the vote campaign was almost “successful” was because several states were extremely close. Biden must win four swing states which is not a guarantee. 2020 was closer than 2016, and the mail in ballots during the pandemic brought in millions of new voters.

I am not worried. i think people see the alternatives, biden vs trump. all biden has to do is remind them how terribly trump handled the pandemic, how his tax cuts helped the rich and ran our debt up to where when trump left office his tax cuts were nearly 30% of the TOTAL debt, how he alienated all of our allies and snuggled up to our adversaries, and i think it is a pretty simple and straighforward case to make.

Pod Save America was talking about this No Labels ‘unity ticket’ for POTUS, well-funded by wealthy donors, and how it appears to be campaigning more heavily in Democratic states, and could be a spoiler tipping the scales towards Republicans. That sounds plausible if true. I think a spoiler would be more effective with a non-Trump GOP candidate, but still worrisome given the close margins in several states as you mentioned.

or perhaps the easier answer is he is lying. like usual.

used as a coaster under that on the rocks bourbon....
he is not a credible witness. i doubt they would make a deal with him because he simply cannot be believed or taken seriously. they make a deal with him, he gives them dirt and it is not true, he commits perjury and then the case can be thrown out. do not trust him for one second.

Depends on how much and what type of evidence they have to corroborate Ruddy’s testimony.

If it’s solely Ruddy on the stand answering questions with no other evidence introduced, sure. If Ruddy is testifying to a “plan” and is asked questions related to the plan and then prosecutors introduce a document called the “plan” and he testifies that the document he’s shown is the “plan” and then he testifies that the document was shared with 5 other individuals prior to and leading up to sharing it with a sixth individual, then those other 5 testify to the document being the “plan”, and then prosecutors introduce fingerprint evidence showing Ruddy and the 5 others handled the document and White House logs show Ruddy and the 5 individuals in the White House for a specific date and time, corroborated by text, email or cell phone data and other witness testimony and then they ask who else was the “plan” shared with, and all the testimony of Ruddy +5 indicate the same individual, which is backed by fingerprints or other witness testimony, Ruddy’s testimony becomes believable, even if his character is questionable given previous lies, falsehoods or misleading statements or motivating factors. It then becomes the defense’s obligation to call witnesses to counter the testimony and other evidence or put their client on the stand to explain it all away. Or exercise their client’s 5th amendment rights and try to destroy testimony and evidence upon cross examination. It can be accomplished but it’s a tough order of magnitude given the amount of evidence I think Jack Mack and the Heart Attacks have assembled, particularly given the evidence gathering the J6 committee conducted. And when there’s a lot of physical evidence presented, juries tend to want to hear from the accused and not just witness cross examination testimony.
