Seems like rubbish to me. Always thought Mike was one of the keenest members of the group. One of the unlikeliest band members to quit in my view

Didn't they record some stuff w/ Watt? I can see something being released by the end of next year with a few dates scattered around before.

They ve toured Europe in the summer for years.  Let s get a us/Canadian summer tour for once!
Curious why specifically want a tour in the summer?  I'd much rather fall/winter/spring personally - summer is just too damn short, and always busy.

You’d have to be a fool to leave PJ.  Has to be the easiest big band to be a part of.

They go on long breaks all the time.  All the time. You couldn’t possibly tour less and release less music than they have in the last 15 years.

    Everything is fine

I I've kind of had a bad feeling about the future of the band for a while now the fact that they didn't have the Sacramento Vegas shows on to the end of the tour was kind of weird I'm hoping for the best though they are the best band live in the world by far

As mixed as were the setlists of the leg 2 of the NA tour, there were no less than 62 album tracks not played.  So I’d say keep on touring and keep on mixing the setlists with the stools out to start or anywhere else during the set.

This and they seemed to be having a blast this leg of the tour.  Only thing stopping them is gonna be health at some point

Assuming they stay together, there is no reason to think this band is going on an extended run in 2023.  Ed talked about the challenges of touring this year, and with all their personal lives, etc. taking another 3-4 months on the road seems really unlikely.  I think you’ll see Ed do some solo stuff after the first of the year in the Northwest and Western Canada, maybe 6-8 shows.  As for the full band,  who knows.   They really seemed to be having fun in Denver and just based on body language, I didn’t get the sense that this was some sort of final act.  But who knows these days.

I would hate playing music and traveling for millions of dollars to support ten months off a year doing whatever the heck I wanted to.  What a burden.
