No one loves going to work every day.
I wouldn't love spending a week in OKC for a night.

The State Fair is happening, so that's not it.  ;)

Maybe he was still getting over being sick and not as energetic remember he did have a mask on for three shows

He was smiling and jamming in STL. Though I was super close to the stage so maybe you couldn’t see from your vantage point?

I was in the pit on Mike’s side in OKC and could see Stone just fine. He was smiling and interacting with the band.

I know he doesn't move around much and that's cool, but what I don't understand is why he has his back turned to the fans so much.

Did the music sound great?! End of argument.
    👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Don’t come at my boy Stone. He’ll turn around when he wants to.

  • Love me some Stone! My wife loves how he rocks in place and does that little bird head bop when he’s feeling the groove. It’s fun watching him when he gets a solo too!

Stone looked pretty happy at Nashville and St. Louis!

Stone’s treatment of the Grammy & crusty coffee cups beg to differ

    Very exciting

How long do you have to be a fan of this band to know that Stone is Not anyone but Stone? He's brilliant beyond belief, a riff genious, and probably wrote most of your favorite songs (and he can play them). I love the fact that each band member has his Own way of expressing his musical art. I'm glad they're not the same! I don't know how playing great music for you could be interpreted as dissinterest or not wanting to be there. Stone is not "Mike stage left", never has been, wouldn't want him to be. There's only one Mike and there's only one Stone. I appreciate them both SO much for the insane talent they bring. Each in his own way. So watch the other guys if you prefer, Stone doesn't mind!

*edit: He also makes prune faces. Doesn't mean he doesn't want to be there!

(Yeah, yeah, he's also written a few of my least favorites, but I'll give him a pass on that tiny percent. He has broader tastes than I have, ha!)

Stone was as animated and engaged as I’ve seen him in a long time in St. Louis. He was rocking out, moving around the stage, smiling, you name it.  Regardless, he could have sat on his stool with his back to us the entire show and he’d still be the best.
I was about to say this. I was side stage right by Mike so got to watch Stone all show and he was jumping and smiling like crazy.

Plus, when Ed messed up the lyrics during All Night in Nashville, Stone kept the music going! Ed looks at Stone, Stone shakes his head no and kept playing!
    What a legend.
