I love Stone, but...

...what a freakin' stick in the mud and didn't move around at all.  Not even his little duck moves.  I was in the first section off the floor and he had his back to us the entire show, just standing next to the drum kit all night.  Hell, Matt covered more ground around the stage than him.  The OKC show was great and Eddie was in a good mood, but this guy needs to at least pretend he wants to play live in front of people.  Mike was great as usual, but there must be a new Stone rule that Mike and Jeff aren't allowed on his side of the stage.

Sorry but this reminds me of people that complain that fans aren't jumping for every song. Stone is a technician. He does what he does and doesn't need to explain anything to you.

    That's what he's always done.

    Everybody rocks out differently

When I rock out I am more of a Stone then a Mike doesn't mean I am not enjoying myself as much as anyone else
  • Maybe he's going through something awful right now. We don't know what he's going through, so let's not even start in on this. I love Stone too, even if he isn't feeling it.

Or, maybe he was just in a shit mood and we can discuss harmlessly on a message board.

I get that he's more reserved than the others, but this was different.  I hope everything's ok with him.

Stone was as animated and engaged as I’ve seen him in a long time in St. Louis. He was rocking out, moving around the stage, smiling, you name it.  Regardless, he could have sat on his stool with his back to us the entire show and he’d still be the best.

Maybe he was in a shit mood. How are we going to discuss that?
  • Sorry dude, but this is such a nitpicky complaint. Dudes in his mid 50s. Sometimes he may just want to play.

I wouldn't love spending a week in OKC for a night.
