Set was good, but I’m so glad I saw them when they were playing more Gigaton songs.
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.

  • This was my first show since the start of the pandemic.  The chills I got during Small Town, corduroy, and alive were awesome.
I know some would rather not hear them at shows but I gotta say those songs move me and the vast majority of the crowd.
Thank you Pearl Jam for making amazing music than speaks to my soul.

Great, great show.  The band is having a blast.  Crowd was awesome.  A ton of good songs, both rare and frequent.  Saw some hilarious stuff from the crew. What a night.

As someone who chose Nashville over St Louis after shows started cancelling in the spring, happy to see them pace themselves to make it to their 3rd show in 3 nights for all you guys. Made a setlist diverse enough for people to check some songs off their wishlists, making me a little jealous about missing out tonight.

Out-of-sequence Mamasan complete 🙌 still haven't gotten mine, tho

Only my second, and both were in this building. I recommend traveling the next time they play here. 😂

I would kill to hear Unthought at my first show when that happens!
Unthought Known is killer live.  Best Backspacer track by far.  One of my all time favorites.  They played it both nights at MSG I&II in 2010 and it made the floor bounce.  It was insane.
Agreed.  Unthought known, quick escape  and lighting bolt are their three best live songs since 2009

So looking forward to Quick Escape

    Oh well, heh

If I were writing the setlist tonight (with the current format)

    11. WHIPPING
    12. PRY, TO (intro)/CORDUROY
    13. BUGS
    14. SATAN'S BED
    15. AYE DAVANITA
    16. IMMORTALITY/HEY, FOXY snippet
    17. WHY GO
    18. RVM

    20. UNTHOUGHT KNOWN
    21. BREATH
    22. SOLAT
    23. ALIVE
    24. BABA O'RILEY

NO WAY.  NO WAY!!!!!  If I could pick any song and they would play it at a show I went to, Who You Are would be top choice with No Way being a close 2nd choice.  Surprised you left off Go and Animal Go Animal :) (you have a great screen name by the way Go Animal.  I don't know how it happened but I never got an option to choose one.  I'm stuck with MM followed by a bunch of numbers.  It won't let me change it.  Would love to have WhoYouAre are as a screen name.  Oh well!)
You can change your name. Ask Glow Girl or Rather Starved, they both did it recently

Good for you.  I wish I could have gone to San Diego and heard 8 songs from Gigaton and LA1 and heard 6.  since then it has been only 3-4 a show except a few shows got 5.  Such a great album.  I'm not complaining by any means.  Just commenting.  Big difference.

  • Great energy in the arena tonight! This set list had me and the people in our section amazed. Retrograde was better than expected. Every album save for No Code, Yield and Backspacer was represented, plus the Singles combo and Mamasan set. Sad was just perfect. The encore was kind of a let down after the Singles combo, and it really appeared that they were done after Alive, but it looked like Ed asked Matt if he was good for one more and we got Yellow.

Dissident was what lit the house on fire. A lot of just standing (but singing loud) and then dissident came and the energy level rose tremendously.  Crowd was unreal after that.

Short set was hardly noticeable,  yeah it feels a little shorter than our spoiled ass 31 sets, but less covers (none tonight unless you count sleeping by myself).  A nice lean set.  You can see Ed getting exhausted as we got around 20 songs.  Damn solid show.   Fun time

Really enjoyed the show tonight. It was the first show for my 14 yr old daughter, and she had a blast. She's claimed her spot as my +1 for any and all future shows. Loved the set list from start to finish, and the crowd energy was fantastic. Other than striking out on a poster, it was pretty much a perfect evening. Can't wait until we get a chance to see them again!
