Great show!!  Heavy on the classics with some notable ones missing- but the energy was WAY off the charts!  I walked away on a cloud so thank you PJ!

  • This was my first time to MSG for any event of any kind.  It did not disappoint.  The first half dozen songs were absolutely phenomenal.  I do agree with the comment that the Gigaton interlude brought the energy down, which was unfortunate.  Imagine Go-Animal-Lukin-Not for You in place of WES etc.  But anyway, it was a really great show and event.  There’s really nothing that compares with a PJ show, except the next PJ show.

Maybe a stupid question, but what does a red 'dot' means in front of a song on the setlist?

No stupid questions, just stupid answers.
I think that's when Eddie talks.

That is typically the case when they toured promoting a new album.  Even the Yield songs during the Yield tour of 98 were that way.

I think that means Eddie has the option to play red dot from yield. But he never does. Hopefully soon 😉

I love Purple Rain 🤷🏼‍♀️ keep it in the setlist
I would be happy if they let Josh sing the whole thing.  He really had fun with it and nailed his end.

It’s to note which songs are tuned down (eg guitars and bass are tuned down a half step). Easier for Ed to sing.

    CHAD. FUCKING. SMITH!!!!

I've seen CHAD FUCKING SMITH walk on stage at a PJ Show, hand Stone a Guitar and Walk off and not be seen again. Stone had a WTF moment when he got his Guitar!
    😂 hilarious. Love the dude.

Yep my thoughts exactly. Give it 5 years and folks will be crying for these songs.

That was insane tonight. The energy was incredible. But I never need to see 7:00am or Purple rain again. Craziest Sonic Reducer I’ve ever seen.
Agree with both.  7 O’clock is great on the album, but a total crowd and vibe killer live
It sucks on the album too. Totally killed the flow. But epic night, and an all timer.

One of the best present tenses ever.
I can't speak to how it was last night, but "7 O'Clock" has been really powerful every time I've seen it (and I've seen it seven times).
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Time to retire the song lest this fan see it an eighth time!

The performance itself was incredible actually. “Sounded” great. It’s a new song first of all, plus it’s mid tempo and too long. I’m sure one day in the future people might be begging for it. But as of now , it was such a momentum killer. Mass exodus when it started. Swap 7:00 for faithful, and purple rain for corduroy. Picking those because they were listed as “options” on the set
