Merch specifically the hats

I know people were complaining about the quality of the tshirts however the hats seem to be the real issue. The black hat specifically that says pearl jam has to be the absolute cheapest hat ever made in terms of quality. This is an instant regret buying. The threading is already coming apart and I just bought the hat yesterday in Hamilton.

    To me the only hats worth a shit were the Wrigley & fenway new era

    some others were, ok at best

    I'll be in the merch line on Sunday before the MSG show. If you want I can speak with folks behind the table to see who the best person to contact would be on refunds. Good customer service 101 would be for them to make it right if the product is already falling apart.

    I loved the hats they put out for Global Citizen Fest... outside of those however, I've never found a good PJ hat.

    The hats are of terrible quality. Made in Myanmar (nothing against Myanmar). Cost to produce is probably between 10 and 25 cents at most.

    I don't entirely trust Tsurt to produce quality t-shirts, so hats have become a pipe dream.

    I got the Molson themed hat in a mystery box... that was a great score since I was at the Montreal '11 show, but alas... the hat didn't fit me well. Mind you, I have a big ass head (7-5/8" for a fitted hat) so I'm as much a part of the problem as the hats themselves, but regardless. I couldn't wear that hat which was disappointing. I liked the design on it.

    Luckily it didn't resemble the Yankees logo nearly as much as the other hat resembled the Mets... otherwise this Red Sox fan couldn't have worn it.  :D

    Didn't claim it isn't. I'm grateful the resemblance isn't as blatant as w/ the Mets hat.

    The Sea Hear Now hat is pretty good. My oldest wears his regularly and it has held up well.

    This has been an ongoing problem imo. The last time I remember the merch being of a decent quality was Fenway ‘16. Since then the T-shirt’s and hoodies have been really thin with really cheap printing that cracks or flakes after a couple washes. Same with the hats. The problem is nothing seems to stop the PJ merch buying mania so there’s no incentive for them to increase the quality. I don’t buy stuff anymore unless it’s a design I absolutely love. It’s just not worth the price or the aggravation of waiting on line for hours.

    For what it’s worth… I picked up the Gigaton hat 2 years ago when they first put out Gigaton merch. 

    It’s probably one of the nicer hats they’ve put out in a long, long time (it’s not a trucker hat - more like a normal high crown adjustable baseball cap).  

    All in all - I like it. I’d recommend it - (assuming it’s the same exact hat I bought online).  Looks like it is.

    All the  merch is cheaply made . Mass produced  and over priced.

    I wasn't crazy about the white event shirt in Ottawa - liked the design, just not the shirt itself - so we didn't even approach a merch stand. The lines were absolutely insane anyway. Hopefully the shop adds some new shirts soon. 

    AND A QUALITY HAT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!
