Absolutely loved acoustic Daughter to open. Footsteps was amazing. Other Side was a real unexpected treat - love that song so much and so much emotion behind it with Ed's story about the requester losing a brother. Jeff's tiny little acoustic bass was so cool. Massive sound for an instrument that kinda looks like a ukulele. Jeff switched to regular basses for the acoustic set in Ottawa. Vibe in the pit on Mike's side was terrific. Closest I've ever been for a PJ show and s lucky to score two picks from Mike and two from Jeff! Great show, lots of Gigaton love. First time seeing Purple Rain and Indifference and they didn't disappoint. DOTC, I Got Shit and Present Tense were highlights for me. Great version of Black. Terrific show and left smiling ear-to-ear until the next day.
Pictures of picks please. Congrats and...2 Jeff picks. Could be a record!

I thought the show was awesome!! Didn't the requester who lost a brother actually request "Off he Goes" and then played Other side instead? Because later they played "Off He Goes" for someone else? That's how I interpreted it anyway. Quebec City was a very special city and definitely a special show! The next day it was funny, my girlfriend and I were randomly going to check out the lobby of the famous hotel in Old Town and sure enough the band was leaving :open_mouth: ended up connecting with Ed albeit very briefly to say we had come from Boston to see the show and how good it was. He wasn't speaking, but was as engaged to as many people as he could.

  • Super late review of the show...

Best pearl jam show I've ever attended, for a few reasons. 1) I had never been that close to the stage in all the shows i'd attended, and it was an awesome experience. Any future show in my neck of the woods I will def try for GA again. 2) It had been so long since my last pj show, I was so grateful to have the chance to see them play again.

The sound quality at Videotron was wonderful, and Ed sounded fantastic. There was a bunch of us who attended this one, and we had 4 (!) from our crew that were seeing them for the first time. It was the perfect setlist for everyone. The pearl jam newbies lost their minds for Daughter, Alive, Even Flow, Corduroy, Small Town, Black and I lost my mind for Present Tense, I got Shit, Footsteps, Other freakin Side and one of my white whales, Indifference. It was a perfect night. The place looked packed to me, and the fans I met in GA were great :)

Can't wait for the next tour!
