There will be no general public sale.   This is troubling for future sales.
This is the exact same thing the PJ North America tour announced in March 2022.  Don’t see what the problem is; it’s 10c pre sale and Verified Fan through TM.
The prices for this however are laughable.

Super stoked they are coming up to Paso. Some good talent passing through there these days. Can't wait!
Just spent a weekend in Paso, missed the timing of this but definitely a great spot to take in a show.

    Holy Sh#t!!!!  $475.77 a pair. New Record
Where did you find the ticket prices?
It’s on there when you log in to submit for presale.

    Robles was $169.50/ticket plus fees

Vegas was $199.50/ticket - Pair was $477 so $78 in fees. Floor is GA.

I went to El Cajon and it was great. Excited when I got email this morning but almost $500 is excessive. Especially after totally canceling the Vegas PJ show.

yah, this seemed a little steep when I paid similar prices for Seattle.  They really tried to gouge on the premium tickets, then were trying to offload all the ones they didn't sell at less than face leading up to the show.

I really enjoyed the two Seattle shows, and glad I went (they were my first post-covid concerts) but if I were to do it again, I wouldn't jump on tix right away.... I'd way to watch the platinum's drop in price and get better ones close up leading up to the show, rather then paying more for being further back.. lol.

These are presale prices? What justifies the cost of these seats. Does Eddie have Tool style production in his shows now? Does he have a rap size entourage with a dude rolling his joints like Snoop? Let’s just spell it out. G R E E D. GREEN DISEASE anyone?

While I’m beyond tickled Vedder is playing so close to my hometown of San Luis Obispo but those prices WTF? As I know I’ll be able to get tickets for well under $200 each closer to October. This has to be the venue they could make the most off of, as this is rural AF with respect to large populations.

It’s a great venue. Real cool place to see a band or artist. But yea, Paso isn’t Napa so the prices don’t make sense.

I think this is becoming the new normal ($200 tickets before fees).... sigh.

In this case, they'res a boat load of talent on the stage with Ed and they are playing smaller venus, so I guess everyone has to get paid?   If it was Eddie Solo by himself, then it's just one musician that needs to get paid in a small venue..

After Covid concert tickets seem to be way more expensive than pre covid tickets, which were already way more expensive than tickets from 20 years ago.   It keeps escalating.  I find it a condundrum.  I think I attend less concerts than I normally would because of how expensive tickets have gotten.  On the flip side, with each passing year, there's less and less of my favourite artists touring, so there's also that pull to keep going to shows while I can, because one day I won't be able too.

And then there was a Public Sale anyway when TM realized that they didn't Verify enough Fans to sell all the tickets.

I get why these shows are on the West Coast, but I have to ask - does Eddie hate Boston now, for some reason?

Regarding ticket prices, EV solo has always been in the neighbourhood of PJ prices.  I remember discussing this in 2008 during the first EV solo tour.  Tickets for Ed’s show we saw on the first leg of that tour was a similar price to Pearl Jam NYC MSG tickets, both in the $80 range.  Even with no backing band, Ed’s been getting paid since the earliest solo tours.

I'm kinda thankful these shows have not come through Boston. No interest in paying almost $500 a pair to see this, but saying no when it was happening close might be hard.

That's fair, but with Dynamic Pricing, there's always a chance for day-of tickets at a steep discount. I'd be willing to hang out in Boston for the day to try my luck. Worst comes to worst, I get some BBQ at Sweet Cheeks and get home a little earlier.

That's the challenge with Dynamic pricing.  The old, you have to get your tickets right away goes out the window, because the demand is usually pretty high around the original onsale date, so people panic buy them (including me for the EV Seattle shows).

It's challenging if you have to travel because it's hard risking booking the time off work, a hotel, and all that on a show you don't have tickets too, but if you're lucky enough to live in the area of the show without having to travel... the waiting game is the way to go.

Exactly. Living an hour from Boston, and knowing that we can just pop into the city for the day, I'd be willing to try this. Hell, I'd probably try it if we missed out on PJ tickets.

    I agree.

But when you wait, you usually don't get the seats you would prefer if you bought during the pre-sale. It really sucks trying to time it out.

Of course demand is high when they just go up for sale....they weren't available before it. And now with the waiting room, when I used to be able to pop in and buy tickets within seconds of the on sale, now when I get in, the dynamic pricing has kicked in, and screws it all up.
