Wonder if more dates will be added for the Earthlings with the RCHP tour ending in mid October for ACL and with the Cubs not really having a chance in the playoffs this year.

Paying twice what I did to see Pearl Jam doesn't make much sense.

Never seen a show announcement generate less excitement on the board. Six posts in 2+ hours?

I guess I missed in the original Ohana Festival announcement that the EV appearance is actually an Earthlings show. I was hoping for an Ed solo acoustic set.

This is FANTASTIC news!!!!  When the announcement was made in April, it was for Ed alone.  No mention of the Earthlings whatsoever!  Having Ohana paid for already, simply thinking I was getting solo Ed, Jack White, Billy Strings, Mike Campbell & Manchester Orch was exciting.  The fact Glen, Watt, Josh & Chad will now be at Ohana in the lineup - wow, I'm 3x as excited.  This is a very unpopular opinion, but the EV & Earthling shows (specifically LA) was one of the best concerts period I've seen in 5 years, let alone of the Ed/PJ variety.  I am so excited for Ohana - come on October!!!!

I agree. This was never announced as an Earthlings show, it was Eddie Vedder. Are we getting both?

Agreed! I saw the ones at the Beacon and Newark. Amazing shows. If they were in my area I would definitely go.

I agree about the Earthlings Tour being amazing. Seeing Ed with them at Youtube Theater was just as cool as seeing PJ at the Forum this last time around. Both great but both a bit different. The smaller venue with Ed is what gives his show  that extra nuance. Very intimate but rocking at the same time. Can't wait.

I am happy that Ohana is an Earthlings show.  I have seen EV solo many times, and I prefer seeing him as part of a band, as opposed to the normal solo shows.

This is the exact same thing the PJ North America tour announced in March 2022.  Don’t see what the problem is; it’s 10c pre sale and Verified Fan through TM.
The prices for this however are laughable.

It’s on there when you log in to submit for presale.

    Robles was $169.50/ticket plus fees

Vegas was $199.50/ticket - Pair was $477 so $78 in fees. Floor is GA.

I went to El Cajon and it was great. Excited when I got email this morning but almost $500 is excessive. Especially after totally canceling the Vegas PJ show.

yah, this seemed a little steep when I paid similar prices for Seattle.  They really tried to gouge on the premium tickets, then were trying to offload all the ones they didn't sell at less than face leading up to the show.

I really enjoyed the two Seattle shows, and glad I went (they were my first post-covid concerts) but if I were to do it again, I wouldn't jump on tix right away.... I'd way to watch the platinum's drop in price and get better ones close up leading up to the show, rather then paying more for being further back.. lol.

These are presale prices? What justifies the cost of these seats. Does Eddie have Tool style production in his shows now? Does he have a rap size entourage with a dude rolling his joints like Snoop? Let’s just spell it out. G R E E D. GREEN DISEASE anyone?

While I’m beyond tickled Vedder is playing so close to my hometown of San Luis Obispo but those prices WTF? As I know I’ll be able to get tickets for well under $200 each closer to October. This has to be the venue they could make the most off of, as this is rural AF with respect to large populations.

It’s a great venue. Real cool place to see a band or artist. But yea, Paso isn’t Napa so the prices don’t make sense.

I think this is becoming the new normal ($200 tickets before fees).... sigh.

In this case, they'res a boat load of talent on the stage with Ed and they are playing smaller venus, so I guess everyone has to get paid?   If it was Eddie Solo by himself, then it's just one musician that needs to get paid in a small venue..

After Covid concert tickets seem to be way more expensive than pre covid tickets, which were already way more expensive than tickets from 20 years ago.   It keeps escalating.  I find it a condundrum.  I think I attend less concerts than I normally would because of how expensive tickets have gotten.  On the flip side, with each passing year, there's less and less of my favourite artists touring, so there's also that pull to keep going to shows while I can, because one day I won't be able too.

And then there was a Public Sale anyway when TM realized that they didn't Verify enough Fans to sell all the tickets.

I get why these shows are on the West Coast, but I have to ask - does Eddie hate Boston now, for some reason?
