Status of Prague show please!!

Dear @Santos L. Halper and @Sea

In Light of the cancellation of the show tonight in Vienna can we please have an update of the status of the show in prague next friday?

As you and the band are very aware A LOT of fans travel through out various shows and it would give us fans some time to organize our schedules that being plain tickets, hotels etc.

If somehow the show is on i aswell as many fans will be going but if its cancelled it will give us time to also cancel hotels and other things which its good because we dont lose money unnecessary these days.

Best regards

Pedro

If there is news early it is negative news. I get what your are saying but as someone who will be in Prague no matter what if they do not give this a try on the day of the show I am going to be disappointed myself.

I get what you’re saying but I’m going to Prague anyway in the hopes that the band will make a decision shortly before showtime because then there’ll be hope. If they cancel, I’ll explore the city anyway

They don’t care if you are traveling or not.  Buyer beware these days with concerts.  And I’m saying this as someone who traveled to Vienna from Texas.  Fingers crossed for Prague.

I wouldn't say they don't care...it's just that the majority of people are local so they can't use that as a decision maker

I'd just like to share that another famous band I follow had to cancel a show recently, and the way fans found out was from an email from Ticketmaster (which for some, went into spam) The band took their time posting to social media and on the website.

All that to say, I think Pearl Jam does an amazing job communicating with fans as soon as a decision is made. I'm sure these decisions are made with a lot of thought and medical advice.

Traveling for shows is always a risk - anything can happen.

They don't know. Even if it looks like Ed is fine today, that could change tomorrow. I know it sucks and I feel for everyone who is stuck not knowing, but unless they know for sure the show won't happen then there is nothing to report. They can't tell you it will definitely go on because they don't know that.

I've had the 'buyer beware' mentality ever since Eddie cancelled his 2012 solo shows when he broke his arm... luckily the show I had lined up was in a cool place to visit (Phoenix, AZ) so we had no shortage of other great things to do.

My approach to travel became more risk averse after London2 in 2018.  Had a great day anyway without the show but have to factor in that a concert is way less guaranteed now than ever before with COVID and aging rockers!

The gigaton era is officially cursed. Let's release a new album in October fellas. Time to start a new uncursed era.
