I think that's the real reason for the short sets-- Mike just can't go that long without needing a break. He had to do the same thing at Ohana.

That's how you do a 22-song set ... still plenty of room for a bunch of hits amidst some rarities and fan favorites

    12.GARDEN
Nice! I am missing seeing Garden and Oceans to complete Ten. Hopefully, they will play one of these at one of my upcoming shows.

Thanks Dimi. It’s great to see a bit more variety back in the set.

Amazing! Inside Job is my favorite song. To hear that as an opener would have been incredible! Great looking set!

As a few have already mentioned, it’s not about the length of the setlist, but it’s how you use it, that’s what really counts 😉

According to the fanview thread, Mike handed Josh his guitar so he could go hand out guitar picks !?

Totally agree! I missed the song at Columbia, 2008 due to a family emergency. When I was at Wrigley 2016 and finally caught it, that was truly special. Gleason did a wonderful job with the intro. Nailed it!

It will be interesting to see what gets played at the next two festivals, Rock Werchter and Lolla Sweden!? Hopefully this is the type of set we can see moving forward especially for the non festival shows. Hopefully BST in London could have two completely different sets both nights.

  • I know I am probably not alone, but I would not cry if I saw a show without Even Flow, so that makes this one kind of unique!

I am not as down on the length of sets as some here, but the uniqueness of sets is what drives me. The only two songs they've played every time for me are Even Flow and Alive (finally got Better Man off the list at Ohana last year). It's a little different wanting a song not to be played, but I figure there is no real chance either of those drop from a set I'm at. To not see it is kind of cool.

Also, if there is one thing they've done without the super varied sets that I like is move songs around, such as opening with Even Flow recently. That would be kind of cool. Now to switch up Porch and Alive!

My 66 show tonight.. That's the whole point.. Isn't the 2 hours set. The problem. Isn't the 20-22 songs.
Pro was the lack of surprise
They came tonight and blow our socks off
    It's was mind blowing..
I walk into venue. Get Setlist..
I read Inside job.... I'm like OK. Now u fuckin with our minds.
That's what we want. To leave us with the open mouth the whole time
Play as many songs you want/can. As many time u want.
Just make it to be a surprised the whole time

PS so no even flow tonight.. So after all this years alive caught even Flow on the top songs I saw live
62 times  saw them live  each now.. They are even!!

Dimi's network usually has taken a peek at the setlist. Hardly ever speculation.

This is what i always assumed. Great start so far! hope it continues. If it does someone has definitely been reading the comments.

Very cool- basically swapped out Daughter/Evenflow/Quick Escape/Wolf Moon for some nice variety.

I think  @JPPJ84 is in heaven right now
    Speechless! So happy!!!!
  • I think that that the band should cut off Dimitris from the inside info. The "power& authority" have gone to his head and he acts like he is some kind of all knowing GOD Bragging about getting the inside track by having the access to the setlists ahead of time, and the way he talks down to other fans and puts them in their place, which I have seen him do when following setlists by saying "I got this", when someone jumps him by announcig a song before he is able to. Like he is the only one who can, and is supposed, to do it!! Get down off your mighty throne. It has gone to your head, and it's become super annoying. You wouldn't know shit if your inside source didn't feed you the info you receive about the band, and their setlists.
