Wonder if the band is using advanced statistics now.  % of ticket sales through 10c Vs general sale for each show, and adjust the setlist accordingly
Lol. No. They have no idea who ended up with the tickets much less 2 years later. These setlist in my opinion, due to one member (cough cough stone). Eddie played dirty frank a few months ago. He gets it. There’s an internal struggle whether people want to admit it or not. It is what it is, but I I  coming from South Carolina to Budapest and bough general tickets because of all the changes the last few years.
What are you basing this opinion on?
The fact Eddie still mixes up sets, stone has been known to want to play the “hits”, he’s literally argued with the band on playing deep cuts on stage, Matt, mike and Jeff love playing live. Like literally you can see it in their faces. Stone just goose necks and plays his same ole
chords. Again, it’s an opinion, but something happened within a few years when they play the same songs every night (from 36 a few years back) like they are the stones in their 80’s. At least the stones have a vote song lol.
Okay so in short, the perception that Stone is responsible for the set is based on no facts.

Look they have afforded themselves the ability to do whatever they want, whenever they want, but 8 Ten era songs in a 23 song set is too much.  Why in 2022, when they are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members do they feel the need to have these songs in such heavy rotation.  It’s gotta get old for them to play them every night.

To be honest, we have to blame Dimi for these shorter sets, he’s the one running the thread after all. He was getting Typers elbow from relaying 30+ song sets, so he informed the band that unless they reduced their set to 20-23 songs he was out!

It's deeper than that. We are all happy the band is still around. There is still a conversation to be had about what is going on.

This take has no merit at all.  Did you know Stone wrote the setlist for Quebec City in 2016 and Charlottesville in 2013?  Have a look at those as far as song selection goes.
