    Dear Pearl Jam.

I would buy this poster as I have many in the past but since I spent 60 dollars in gas and 7 hours in a car on the worst section of road in the world for you to cancel a show mid afternoon. I will now pass on this and any other merch you will be unloading in the future.

Good luck on all future endeavors

    Sincerely,

    A Fan

I think you should just ask to speak to the Manager.

I don’t care THAT the concert was canceled. It’s the WHEN. and how many have died fully vaxd from Omicron. Head cold.

And I have never called a cop or even filed paper with a court. So thanks again.
It’s clear you’re frustrated based on all your recent posts and I was in the same boat as you but try and appreciate the fact the band arrived at the venue and immediately tested shortly before canceling. They weren’t sitting around the arena at 8am like the rest of us GA/merch liners.

I’m not worried about covid.  I’m worried I get it and pass it to someone else who then dies.

it’s a big responsibility to have that many people at a show you are responsible for… ie Roskilde

I really don’t think Jeff is too worried about himself, maybe he even felt good enough to play, but it’s probably not about him so making it about Jeff or Matt misses the point

Everyone know the risk in 2022, that if the artist gets covid the show is cancelled.

It's unfortunate, its frustrating. But that is the rule every concertgoer knows.

I just spent $17 to not have to hold a poster in GA for 6 hours.  Seems well worth it.
They really should add it to the ticket request as an option for 10c tickets.  Get selected for a show you can click a box to pre purchase the poster whatever it is.  Then it’s shipped and you skip the merch line
They tried it in 2009 (at least here on the West Coast) and to the fans it was a complete success - other than having to buy a poster art unseen.
Not sure why it has been done again...
    6/24/95, 11/4/95, 11/7/95, 7/10/98, 7/12/98, 7/13/98, 10/24/00, 10/25/00, 10/27/00, 6/2/03, 6/3/03, 6/5/03, 7/7/06. 7/9/06, 7/10/06, +++ most socal pjam shows since...

People would just complain about not liking the poster, or it took too long to ship, or shipping costs, or whatever.  I think the fact that most posters become available online shortly after the shows is pretty good, you just have to be paying attention.

I would think they want people to buy at the merch stand at the shows because they'll be more likely to make other purchases.

Yes, they should. It's been suggested many times over the years.

I don't think this happened last time? But it was a while ago. Could you please post a link some of these comments?
