Impressed with the band management with the  lack of leaks this tour. I feel like the forums this fan base usually knows 80% of the cities by now
Maybe this is 80%?  Hope not…..
    Let's hope not!
    That would be disappointing
Considering we had ZERO thoughts until yesterday anything better than nothing?
    Oh, I wouldn't say "zero"...
    Ok....Ok....you know what I meant

It's really weird that radio isn't even hyping many announcements today.  Usually their social media pages have a lot of activity prior to something.  Makes me wonder if there isn't something else coming outside of just a few fall shows.

The Toronto fan did say they're recording.

I strongly suspect this September tour will be the same songs/musicians as 2022. There's an outside chance of a new song, but no new album.

Can't remember the last tour where we didn't know anything really before the announcement.
Are we following the same thread?
Normally we have like all 12 dates nailed down and pretty much the right dates lol.

Yeah I don’t think we need to rely on the radio stations to be the ones to break a Pearl Jam tour. Got to realize promoters pay the radio stations to promote those shows. Pearl Jam does not need that for a 12 (if that) city tour.

And these are usually confirmed in some form by the Greek.

I think once the tour is announced we will understand why this one is a little different than others. They are hyping 5 or 6 cities in their vid. Maybe thats it...

And of course it seems like they are holding it very close now compared to before.

The Greek getting out of the business of dropping hints is probably the biggest factor as to why we don't know as much as we would in years past.

    Here's what I'm thinking.

They were supposed to tour in spring. That tour got axed in favor of studio time. (Did Mr. Novoselic say "tour" or did he say "plans?" It's been so long.)

The fall tour will be to wrap up Gigaton dates.

    New album early next year.

CUBS IN TOWN for the day between ...YES!!! My 2 fave things...Cubbies and PJ

Any guesses for a first pitch and/or 7th inning stretch?
Do cubs games normally sell out. I'd be happy just to be in the ball park.

This notion that PJ is too big to need to promote their shows is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I think PJ is the greatest band on the planet. And I'll seek out and go to their shows no matter what. But I've also been to a few PJ shows where attendance wasn't great.
Every band needs to promote their shows. And every band wants to sell as many tickets right out of the gate as possible.
