News letter says " We can’t wait to get back to touring in the near future!"

But where? The last I heard, it was looking good for Australia and not so good for North America...but you gotta figure they want to do more in the northeast and Seattle...maybe even Portland and Vancouver too.

March 2023 in South America has to be up next.  The leaked date or two was the only solid 2023 rumor that has popped up yet.  We’re about 5 months out so expect announcement in next 30-45 days.

Starting to think/mostly wish that AUS/NZ was pushed to Jan/Feb 2024 to accommodate a Southeast Asia run after it.  Start in NZ, end AUS in Perth, up to Jakarta, Singapore Manila and ending with 2-3 in Japan.  It works and makes sense.

I don't think that is the case with that twitter handle - they had the Bogota date in 2015 well before others and the official notice.  Perhaps your right but have been some strong SA rumors for months.

Spring tour means either South America in March (although this get less likely by the day), or USA in April/May

April/May USA Tour would likely be 12-16 shows.  My guess start in Texas, would look something like this - Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Madison, Indianapolis, Detroit, Columbus, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, and ending in Florida.

August and September tour would start in Seattle, maybe another 10-12 shows, and include T-Mobile Park, Missoula, Wrigley and Fenway (which you can probably lock in for labor day weekend) - I also think this leg would include Hartford, New York, and Possibly Citi Field in Philly (yes, they can easily sell this out).

If this happens, 2024 could be one of those years where North America gets like one show for the entire year (similar to 2015)

And please, if you play sheds, PLEASE play Jiffy Lube Live!  NoVA/DC needs a show

Almost 0% chance of back to back summers in Europe.  2024 or 2025 are almost certain, though.

I can’t remember the details but wasn’t there a decent lead on South America shows/festivals?  Maybe those are the spring tour?  I’d much prefer the 15 show New England tour (I’m kidding, I’d be fine with 10 shows), but it would be cool if they hit South America first.

I'm putting a lot of hope into the "almost 0%" 😉 But I'm also a realist. The only thing that would lure them to Europe next summer is a smaller tour around the cancelled cities.

The European tours are usually anchored around a number of festivals, and festivals don’t bring headliners in back-to-back years.  I doubt PJ goes to Europe just to do their own shows while skipping the festivals they always play at.  2024 or 2025 like someone else mentioned above seems more likely for Europe.

I thought South America would be in play for spring 2023 but that seems unlikely without being on any of the Lollapalooza lineups.

Oh I didn’t check the lineups.  That makes sense it’s probably doubtful down there then.  A few months back I think there was some leaked venue lineup for some festival in like Chile or Brazil and it had PJ on it.  Must have been fake news.

I miss the days of Dimi hints!

Lollapalooza in SA makes sense if the statement about Matt holds true. The festival paydays are too big for them to ignore. Where they go after that is a total crapshoot. If there are US dates, they will be back to the Northeast  =)

So much for that theory. Hmm. Interesting. Could they really be doing arenas in the Spring after playing in the fall?? That would be great.
