Another positive about tomorrow is it’s the threshold before the 6 months of syrup brown air and 105 degree days are upon us.

Or smoke filled days smelling our forests burn for months. It’s awesome here in Fresno. The bad mouthing is to keep housing prices low.
    Peace,Love and Pearl Jam.

Hot.  Outside it is.  I’m bringing a shade and misting fan. And a Bluetooth speaker to play PJ songs for the GA line to drown out the negativity.

I didnt know if one could bring a misting or personal fan, bcuz of that other thing that's "through the air"- i don't know, I'd like to bring & have one to use.  I had sunstroke a long time ago, 91°f is a challenge- was so hoping it would be in the mid, or low 80's(°f)
  • Here’s a Fresno story for you.

That really sucks! Glad to hear all is well and sounds like nothing major happened. Can't wait for tomorrow! Driving up in the morning from the LA area. Sadly couldn't find anyone else that wanted to go, their loss!!!

    Can’t wait for tomorrow’s show.

Anyone going to any bars tonight in Fresno?
If so, where? Lots of bars and breweries around the area, but it is a Sunday. So not sure where is best to spend our time this evening.

I defer to pearljammr78 with respect to life in Fresno, although I do find a lot of the gratuitous shots taken at the city by others in this thread who have almost certainly never been there to be somewhat annoying.  One thing that really bears mentioning though is that Fresno is a city of over a half-million people, with over a million people in the MSA centered around Fresno.  It also has a large university of over 25,000 students.  Whatever Fresno's flaws, as attested to by pearljammr78, it's not a one-stoplight town as some people here seem to think.

Anyway, a question for pearljammr78: you clearly don't like living in Fresno so, I'm curious, what keeps you there?  Job?  Family?  Spouse's family?  The fact that Tom Seaver was born there?  A combination of the aforementioned?  Something else altogether?
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

here about that, but I'm glad Fresno's
hosting & happening w/ Pearl Jam.
Alot of people will be happy and pleased-
I feel you smiling and excited- See you
         tomorrow

Definitely Tom Seaver. What else could it be. Lol

seriously all the above mentioned things. So the feeling of being stuck here makes it so much worse. Grew up in the foothills and mountains near here but those have and continue to be destroyed by meth related crime and sickness along with other addictions and fires in the mountains. Destroying the one place I find peace here. Some days are better than others and bless those that can find good here. My negativity drowns me daily.

K enough serious talk. Less than 24 hours till our faces being melted. Let’s fucking go!!!!
    Peace,Love and Pearl Jam.

Thanks for the info! I’m staying there so appreciate hearing that. As for all the negativity about Fresno, at least for a few hours on Monday night, there are many, many folks who’d give just about anything to be there with us.

It’s finally here!!!! Not gonna lie. Already have butterflies in my stomach and I could barely sleep last night like a kid before the first day of school. Tonight the earth with shift on its axis. Up will be down. Right will be left. And for one night,Fresno will be the greatest spot on planet earth.
    Peace,Love and Pearl Jam.
