To clarify I live in NYClownofThorns said:
Man, I wish had these problems. If a show is within a 3-3.5 hr drive from me, I'm 100% going. When OKC showed up on the list for 2020, I was ecstatic: 3:25 from my house? Woohoo!! Even St. Louis (5+ hours) is a no-brainer for me.OceansJenny said:I have a friend that moved to Fresno. She is 15 min from the arena. Fresno natives are not your typical PJ demographic. And to get to Fresno from SF is a pain in the ass, it was like a 3-3.5 hr drive. The same as driving NYC to Baltimore. But to go to Fresno. There is really no reason to go to Fresno as a tourist. It’s a farming town.Even though my friend lives there, I’m not going to the Fresno show. Too much of a pain in the ass to get there. It’s in the middle of nowhere.
so 6 hour flight… then 4 hr drive! Pass. DC '03 - Reading '04 - Philly '05 - Camden 1 '06 - DC '06 - E. In Fresno you’ll be walking next to major roads. Not a pleasant stroll.cutz said:
I'm staying at the Holiday Inn and it's a little less then a mile away and I HOPE to be able to walk it too. Good question: Is it a safe walk?JR86440 said:I'm staying at Hilton one mile away. Guessing it is safe enough to walk back after show? Wouldn't want to do that in LA that's for sure..
Also staying about a mile away from The Forum and I'll be walking, along with others.DC '03 - Reading '04 - Philly '05 - Camden 1 '06 - DC '06 - E. Growing up in San Jose we used to dump on Fresno all the time. The usual stuff "Bakersfield without the charm", "cowboys and meth". I am sure it had nothing to do with FSU annually beating the Spartans in football.

I lived in Bakersfield my freshman college summer 40 years ago working at El Torito. Worst summer of my life 😂JeBurkhardt said:Growing up in San Jose we used to dump on Fresno all the time. My point on this comment was there isn’t a ticket to found outside of California which you’d think would be sellouts given the population. I mean Nashville is sold out.JZ280705 said:It just amazes me the availability of tickets in California - Fresno especially. Um, I think it was a bunch of “real fans” from the East & Central regions giving up their tickets for other newly added shows that caused all this availability.JZ280705 said:It just amazes me the availability of tickets in California - Fresno especially. My wife and I are staying in Best Western. About 2 miles from the arena. We are flying into LA next Friday for a fun weekend there, then we are renting a car and driving to Fresno on Sunday evening. Then back to LA to fly home Tuesday night. Should be a fun mini vacation!0

The concept of "real fans" is dumb but what newly added shows are these that people gave up their California tickets for? The two in California or the one in Nevada?Red Mosqito said:

Fresno has the excuse of not everyone knowing it is the American Paris. Los Angeles, meanwhile, has no such excuse. A Friday night show in one of the biggest cities in the country being this undersold day of is an embarrassment.
EDIT: I guess most of it is fan 2 fan, which isn't that unusual given there are always tickets on stubhub day of. Carry on.Post edited by JimmyV on___________________________________________
