I wish I had tickets! Shut out! But I want to know if fans for those 2 venues can sell 10c tix back through Ticketmaster.
Why?
Because just like almost everyone else on here, we are looking for tickets!
I certainly understand that! I'm looking for tickets too (not for Denver or MSG, thankfully). I just don't think it would be worth it to monitor the Ticketmaster pages for either of those shows, even if it were possible to sell them there. I'm trying to imagine the person who would list them on F2F. The very scrupulous ticket holder who has no friends who want to attend and who doesn't visit these boards I guess!
Thanks everyone for the replies! For those who don't have tickets, I wish you well in your hunt. I'm thinking that I will probably just wait and find something the week of the show. That has worked well for me in the past.
If anyone is looking to unload a pair of Camden's, I am your guy. Like others, had Baltimore seats, shut out on 10C draw and verified fan. Let's work something out.
In regards to the tax thing that Ticketmaster is now implementing with the F2F.....If our tickets don't sell, can we report that as a loss next tax season?

Consult a tax person not the PJ forums, that being said I would speculate that you can't unless ticket selling is your job. You'd have an uphill battle proving that ticket-flipping is your trade
or business, I think. How many times do you flip tickets per year. Did
you appropriately report the tickets sold for a gain (not just the
losing ones), etc.

Nice! DM me if the wife bails.

In my experience, PayPal TM Ebay etc all send a 1099 form which revenue must be reported. From there one has the ability to claim what those items cost which is then when a person could include the tickets which were not sold. I am a season ticket holder to (3) pro sports teams which I have to sell a lot as I cannot attend every baseball or hockey game. Last year PayPal issued me a 5 figure 1099 which I then claimed the expense to be exactly what the revenue indicated for a "wash."
I likely could have claimed a loss as there were some games I was unable to sell etc. I chose a neutral path as I am not the best at keeping records. If the IRA is treating us as a business then we should have every opportunity to capitalize on that classification.
No different with merch....be careful when selling G&S for high dollar items like 98s or signed items. The seller will get a 1099.
