I’m a bit cautious around “PJ Premium” though. It’d be nice to know if there’s a real difference between Platinum and this… apart from Platinum tickets can be resold at different prices (above or below face).0 -

- Tronno! Standing room tickets have opened up! As of this writing there are also a handful of F2F singles. Go go go!
- Bourbon Festival GA still available, and even though it'll most likely be a "Festival Set" they should cater to some Faithful who make the trip (you're not gonna get Gremmie)
- Is there room for more shows this year? Is the band up to it? After the last few weeks in this country, I think that might be a possibility. You can't be neutral on a moving train...

The shows/most of the fans/ticketholders being on the east coast is making F2F life difficult for this west coast fan.1993: Portland, OR (09/06), Seattle, WA (12/07), Seattle, WA (12/08), Seattle, WA (12/09) // 1995: Seattle, WA (02/05) // 1996: Seattle, WA (09/16) // 1997: Oakland, CA (11/19) // 1998: Portland, OR (07/18), Seattle, WA (07/21), Seattle, WA (07/22) // 2000: Bellingham, WA (05/10), Vancouver, BC (05/11), Mountain View, CA (10/31), Portland, OR (11/02), Seattle, WA (11/05), Seattle, WA (11/06) // 2002: Seattle, WA (12/05), Seattle, WA (12/06), Seattle, WA (12/08), Seattle, WA (12/09) // 2003: Vancouver, BC (05/30), Seattle, WA (10/22) // 2005: Quincy, WA (09/01) // 2006: Portland, OR (07/20), Quincy, WA (07/22), Quincy, WA (07/23) // 2009: Berlin, DE (08/15), Seattle, WA (9/21), Seattle, WA (9/22) // 2010: Berlin, DE (06/30) // 2013: Los Angeles, CA (11/23), Los Angeles, CA (11/24), Portland, OR (11/29), Spokane, WA (11/30) // 2018: Seattle, WA (08/10) // 2022: Seattle, WA (02/22), New York, NY (09/10), New York, NY (09/11), Camden, NJ (09/14), Denver, CO (09/22) // 2023: St. Paul, MN (08/31), St. Paul, MN (09/02) // 2024: Portland, OR (05/10), Sacramento, CA (05/13), Los Angeles, CA (05/21), Los Angeles, CA (05/22), Seattle, WA (05/28), Missoula, MT (8/22), Indianapolis, IN (8/26), Chicago, IL (8/29), Chicago, IL (8/31), New York, NY (9/03), New York, NY (9/04), Philadelphia, PA (9/07), Philadelphia, PA (9/09), Baltimore, MD (9/12), Boston, MA (9/15), Boston, MA (9/17), Dana Point, CA (9/27), Dana Point, CA (9/29) // 2025: Hollywood, FL (4/24), Hollywood, FL (4/26), Nashville, TN (5/06), Nashville, TN (5/08), Raleigh, NC (5/11), Raleigh, NC (5/13), Pittsburgh, PA (5/16), Pittsburgh, PA (5/18)0

I'm not suggesting that absolutely no one is buying the premium tickets, but I have a feeling that some of the f2f resale tickets at premium prices are being sold directly from ticketmaster. Some of the prices/seats being offered are just too fishy to believe. It feels like an extra layer of manipulation.
For example, Camden now has multiple f2f pairs in section 203 row b for $1183. I was in for the verified sale, and while everything but premiums, season ticket offers and lawn seats were gone almost immediately, not once did I see any premiums being offered anywhere close to that price for 200 level seats. Not then, or in the time since. It's interesting that $1183 is merely $33 more than the superior premium seats available for sale at the same show. Perhaps an attempt to create the illusion that $1150 is a great deal, being a lower price than "face value exchange" in a lesser location. I've seen it at other venues too. West cost arena and midwest f2f tickets at 300-500% markups for upper level seats? There's no way they sold that many premium priced tickets for non premium seats.

SHZA made a good point about LA f2f tickets at $1k, and I dont have a good explanation for that, but if I recall, they didn't completely drop premiums for those shows to face value either, despite tickets becoming easily available leading up to the shows. So possibly eating a few seats to encourage premium sales at a lower cost could've been a motivation.
I don't know, I just can't believe that mediocre seats with premium prices would sell as much as the f2f resales would suggest.0 -

As far as I know, all remaining Premiums dropped to face value somewhere around 2-4pm each show day in Cali. I tried to update the first post in this thread around that time in succession. There were guys in line for merch at both LA shows that were upgrading & listing what they originally had on F2F immediately after. I know at least one guy scored Floor, and sold a 100 section minutes after. That Floor ticket started as one of the $1k's.It all does end up being a bit of a gamble, but worst case scenario? If you wait & are lucky/fast enough, you would have 2 tickets for face value, and end up eating one.In LA, that meant you'd be in for $254 ($127 x 2) for a excellent seat that was Premium for months, but became face value on the day of. So even if you couldn't sell your original ticket, you could scan the parking lot for someone who didn't have one & hook 'em up. Or put a quick post up on the board here. And while it's not ideal, $254 for a seat that was going for $1k? I could live with that. Didn't have to, but I could lol.PJ - 09/23/98: West Palm Beach II, 08/12/00: Tampa, 04/12/03: Orlando, 04/13/03: Tampa, 06/12/08: Tampa, 06/27/08: Hartford, 09/22/09: Seattle II, 04/11/16: Tampa, 05/01 & 05/02/16: MSG I & II, 09/18/21: Sea Hear Now, 10/01 & 10/02/21: Ohana Encore I & II, 05/06 & 05/07/22: Los Angeles (Inglewood) I & II, 09/11/22: MSG, 09/16/22: Nashville, 09/02/23: St. Paul II, 09/07/23: Chicago II, 09/18 & 09/19/23: Austin I & II, 05/16 & 05/18/24: Las Vegas I & II, 08/29 & 08/31/24: Wrigley Field I & II, 09/03 & 09/04/24: MSG I & II, 09/27 & 09/29/24: Ohana Festival I & IIEV - 08/04 & 08/05/08: (Eddie solo, w/Liam Finn) NYC I & II, 11/27 & 11/28/12: (Eddie solo, w/Glen Hansard) Orlando I & II, 02/09 & 02/10/22: (Eddie & the Earthlings) Chicago I & II, 09/30/23: (Eddie & the Earthlings) Ohana Festival

I don't know, I just can't believe that mediocre seats with premium prices would sell as much as the f2f resales would suggest.Agree with SHZA as well, and I think there's a psychological aspect to all of this. How many of us put a single, or pair in our cart for Floor, or 100's with resounding quickness? Your first instinct is to BUY, BUY, BUY so you don't lose them & miss out. But then you see the price O_OYou wanna see the band, and have the best seat possible, but I personally don't think you should have to pay an arm & a leg to do so. Time & again it's been possible to see them (or Eddie) with a little bit of patience & a lot of luck (more than you can imagine, Optimus Prime). When it comes to $1k & up F2F tickets, I truly believe it's just fellow fans putting up tix after suffering buyer's remorse. With the amount of time I spend refreshing & checking these shows, I haven't seen any evidence to the contrary. Also, the way people are on the internet & social media, I think a lot of the fans who jumped on overpriced tix are remiss to come online & lament about it. They'd be met with scorn & ridicule, rather than remorse. "You knew what you were buying, dumbass!" etc.Pretty sure every overpriced F2F listing, the person just ended up going, or giving their log-in info to a friend, or friend of a friend so SOMEONE could enjoy the show.Ticketmaster does indeed suck, but I don't think they'd be dumb enough to try & execute a shell game (artificially priced F2F) of that magnitude. If they got caught doing something like that, the entire live music industry would fall apart (for a little while).PJ - 09/23/98: West Palm Beach II, 08/12/00: Tampa, 04/12/03: Orlando, 04/13/03: Tampa, 06/12/08: Tampa, 06/27/08: Hartford, 09/22/09: Seattle II, 04/11/16: Tampa, 05/01 & 05/02/16: MSG I & II, 09/18/21: Sea Hear Now, 10/01 & 10/02/21: Ohana Encore I & II, 05/06 & 05/07/22: Los Angeles (Inglewood) I & II, 09/11/22: MSG, 09/16/22: Nashville, 09/02/23: St. Paul II, 09/07/23: Chicago II, 09/18 & 09/19/23: Austin I & II, 05/16 & 05/18/24: Las Vegas I & II, 08/29 & 08/31/24: Wrigley Field I & II, 09/03 & 09/04/24: MSG I & II, 09/27 & 09/29/24: Ohana Festival I & IIEV - 08/04 & 08/05/08: (Eddie solo, w/Liam Finn) NYC I & II, 11/27 & 11/28/12: (Eddie solo, w/Glen Hansard) Orlando I & II, 02/09 & 02/10/22: (Eddie & the Earthlings) Chicago I & II, 09/30/23: (Eddie & the Earthlings) Ohana Festival

Well, good points from everyone...and I may be completely wrong, but it still seems strange to me. Probably the strongest anecdotal evidence that is leading me to my suspicion is that I never saw any of these f2f tickets being sold as premium in the first place.
Like I said, I was in for the verified sale for Camden, and have been periodically monitoring it ever since (at least once a day). Of all the premiums that have been listed for Camden, the only ones I ever saw in the 200 level were in 202, and weren't $1k. I remember seeing a couple singles for $250 actually. I certainly can't recall seeing any for over $1k on the outer 200 sections, yet the keep randomly showing up on f2f. I suppose it's possible a few people were unlucky enough to snag the worst deal in the house, but it is suspicious.0 -

The have a summer lawn pass, and some people actually got in on that for arguably the cheapest PJ ticket (other than free). As far as the Premium pricing, TM has a few metrics that they use (similar to surge pricing) to get to their price point. And FOMO is a hell of a drug, lol. It all goes back to being patient. That's part of why I made the thread in the first place. I'm confident anyone who wants to go to Camden will find a way in, either through TM/Live Nation, or with help from folks on here (and won't have to pay $1,200 to do it).PJ - 09/23/98: West Palm Beach II, 08/12/00: Tampa, 04/12/03: Orlando, 04/13/03: Tampa, 06/12/08: Tampa, 06/27/08: Hartford, 09/22/09: Seattle II, 04/11/16: Tampa, 05/01 & 05/02/16: MSG I & II, 09/18/21: Sea Hear Now, 10/01 & 10/02/21: Ohana Encore I & II, 05/06 & 05/07/22: Los Angeles (Inglewood) I & II, 09/11/22: MSG, 09/16/22: Nashville, 09/02/23: St. Paul II, 09/07/23: Chicago II, 09/18 & 09/19/23: Austin I & II, 05/16 & 05/18/24: Las Vegas I & II, 08/29 & 08/31/24: Wrigley Field I & II, 09/03 & 09/04/24: MSG I & II, 09/27 & 09/29/24: Ohana Festival I & IIEV - 08/04 & 08/05/08: (Eddie solo, w/Liam Finn) NYC I & II, 11/27 & 11/28/12: (Eddie solo, w/Glen Hansard) Orlando I & II, 02/09 & 02/10/22: (Eddie & the Earthlings) Chicago I & II, 09/30/23: (Eddie & the Earthlings) Ohana Festival

Just FYI for anyone who hasn't noticed yet, all the single lowers and floor seats for OKC that were previously premium were dropped to "face" at $103. Still a couple semi-decent ones left.0
