Btw, "waitlist" is TM's "polite" way of saying no tickets for you. There's no actual waitlist, or way to get off the waitlist and get tickets.
Pretty much...I'd imagine the logic is that the people on the waitlist are next in line if enough people with codes decline to buy tickets. Not going to happen.

There will only be stubhub for NY and CO (because of state laws in those states). You'll need to spend time monitoring F2F, this message board, and watching the TM site for ticket dumps as the show dates approach. Each show will vary in degree of difficulty, but if you are willing to put in the time glued to your computer/phone, you'll get something eventually in most cases.

The only tickets that can end up on stubhub are tickets for MSG and Denver due to state laws. The rest of the tour is non transferable and mobile only.
The CO and NY laws are good for ticket holders of those shows, but bad for people who haven't lucked out getting tickets, as f2f won't be an option.
I honestly feel bad for people who are getting codes tonight and thinking they will get tickets tomorrow, not knowing what they are really getting into. We joke about being gutted but that is a gutting experience.
I got a code in 2020 and again this time, both for shows I got in the lottery (Toronto in 2020, Hamilton this time). I think I'll be skipping it again.

"Multiple Events: You are eligible to submit up to one (1) Program registration during the Registration Period, regardless of method or combination of methods of registration or number of registrations submitted. If the Artist announces any additional events at the same venue within a period of ninety days of the original event, your registration will automatically be carried over to the new event as well. You agree that Ticketmaster has the right to message you to participate in the Verified Fan onsale for any/all events at this venue for the Artist during that time."
Basically if you got shut out of any of those cities, if a 2nd date gets added, you're back in the game

On the site, it had us pick a primary show, and then a bunch of others we'd be interested in. I put in the same as my 10c picks: LA1, LA2, MSG, Vegas. I switched up the order N1 & N2 to see if I'd get it, but it only half worked. Got LA1 from 10c, and Vegas from TM VF. Still gonna go to all, one way or another.

I don't recall 2020 VF being city specific (even though had to put in city picks to register). Once in could try and buy any show (incl CAN and US).
I got email tonight but didn't have city. Still waiting on the text msg with code.
It took about 40 minutes during the 2020 Verified Fan sale for me to be taken of the waitlist, and receive a code that I could use for tickets. Will probably only happen for the new shows, but it is possible to be un-waitlisted.
Also, there was mostly only seats behind the stage available by then.
