I would queue up as long as you  can at that  age. Get mike side and enjoy the  picks rain down.  With youth on your side it will be a life changer
See, the thing is, due to horribly embarrassing reasons [i can't drive and the concert is out of state so my mother is going to the concert with me and is refusing to queue for the line early OR let me do it by myself] i can't really wait for a long period of time. is it still worth it d'you think?

I've seen Pearl Jam twice with my mom. The first time, I dragged her to the show super early so that we could wait in line to get our tickets (a friend led me to believe this would mean better seats, but I think we misunderstood how the process worked at the time). I've always felt bad about that, but she did get to wave to Eddie as he rode around the parking lot on his bicycle, so I think she was okay with it. Basically, do what you can to get tickets, and just enjoy the music.

Also, invest in some good ear protection. It seems antithetical, but it can make things sound better, and you'll actually be able to hear normally after the show.
^^^^ This: ear protection. Important safety consideration, preparedness + an indication you are ready and mature enough for live music events.

If someone starts chanting for a Riot Act song, join in.

IIRC, the 2003 tour had tickets allocated in blocks by member number. The earlier someone got their tickets, the better they were in their pre-assigned block.

By 2009 (definitely by 2010), that system was abolished. By 2010, it didn't matter when someone got to the window.

It was 2003, so that was what we were trying to do (thanks - I can never remember quite how it worked). We sat around for hours waiting for the ticket window to open, there were about 30 people there, and my seats weren't great anyway (they were fine).

Get there day of show early morning. Wait in merch line, then proceed to pre-party. Once the show begins, sing along as loud as you can to the songs you know. The experience of seeing the boys for the first time will change your life. It did mine.

No way - Stone wore a PJ shirt before.  Wear a PJ shirt if you want to, don't follow this silly advice!

Yep. And if you love Eddie scream it out loud. Be yourself, imagine what you want and it will happen.

Same as any other show honestly, only difference is expect to be there at least 3 hours once the band starts (unlike Jane’s Addiction who charges more money for a whopping 68 minute show). Oh and apparently when they play Even Flow, it’s your cue to go to the bathroom because PJ fans can’t like that song

Even Flow piss break is for the ten-or-more PJ show crowd. We should all be so lucky to witness  McCready do an Evenflow solo for the first time again.

Dang, Jane’s Addiction is one of those I still have yet to see but really want to. Sucks to read that comment!

as long as you and your chaperone / mom, can go and take b-room & other breaks by yourselves,  while you're into Pearl Jam's performance with fans, not ready or wanting to miss a thing- hope it's flex like that, & you see it all through to the end +. just sayin'...

For new concertgoers, if you’re gonna talk more than a few minutes, please remember there are others that really want to hear the band. Please take the conversation to the concourse.

I never understood fans paying big money and investing time going to a live show, and then shouting over the band. Almost got my head handed to me by a PJ “fan” shouter at msg 2003.

We had a staff member from Diane Feinstein's office and his Canadian friend behind us for Seattle 2 in 2018. Working for Senator Feinstein is the best job this guy has ever had in politics. His friend had two kids at home and an early morning flight the next day that he was considering skipping. We learned all of this and more because they would not shut up until the encore when the alcohol really took over and they started booing certain songs. Not fun.
