I think the gold is CURRENTLY only available at East Street in-store.
So all the ones sold at EasyStreet Records are golden?
I bough mine there but wasn’t planning on opening the seal. So some confirmation about this would be nicely appreciated, @Patrick_Sea3! XD
His post said they had a few.  The post is in the previous page.

Why wouldn’t you plan on opening it?
No sticker at all, only a few copies of the gold variant.
Are they also pressed at United?

I can't be sure what pressing I yet have as disc 1 does not appear to have anything in the dead wax, I would assume since bought in US it is United but maybe I am wrong, but it sounds fine. Pretty much on par with my original.  If I had a gripe the packaging is inferior and cheaper.

And also I rest my case on the pictures of the gold.  "Metallic vinyl" = melted crayon.
You can tell which version you have on the back of the album cover.  The U.S. version has different label logos in the lower back right.  The U.S. version will have the Epic and Legacy logos.  The European version has 3 logos there.

Nope, only a few, you had to get it directly from Matt.

So basically this Matt guy probably got some of the 10c versions then?

    that’s my working theory

Just not a big fan of gold or silver pressings. Think the clear looks much better.

Good theory. Earlier this week Santos posted that 10C would not be selling clear copies. However, he did not mention, nor did anyone know to ask about, gold copies :smirk:

He did say a golden chance this week.

You see what he did here?

We will NOT have any LO2L clear vinyl copies in the shop.
    slh

Then he stressed  CLEAR in his 2nd Post,  variant coming.

We will NOT have any Live on 2 Legs CLEAR vinyl copies in the shop.
    slh

Maybe, maybe he is just trying to make it CLEAR that they wont have any copies. Maybe they will get black copies eventually as part of a wider release. You never can tell.

Seems odd that they would do another color since the aim is for people to support indie stores and having their own exclusive color would defeat the purpose although they did with Easy St. I can't remember if there was any random red copies sold at stores.
To be fair I think it’s good that the club sells a few copies. I would imagine their are plenty of people that do not have an independent record store near by. Also I am sure Newbury comics is gonna have a ton of stock on Monday to order.
Might be someone's golden opportunity to get a copy next week...

I got the last one, I think it was only offered to the first 10 people in line.

LP 2 has a nice WARP and distortion on Off He Goes.
His eminence has yet to show.

Oh, so it's like random golden copies among the EasyStreet Record stock, not all of it?
Geez, if that's the case I'm dying to know if I got lucky today!

I moved in recently and am still settling down and organizing my life and house here in Seattle. The record player I have at the moment is a very cheap one that I don`t dare spinning my PJ records on it! h0h0h0h0h0
That's why I was planning on opening my new LPs later when I'd have the proper tools to play them.
Not random at all, I think They only had maybe 10 copies, and it did not have a sticker at all.

Matt = owner of Easy Street Records and friend of the band. Matt approached me as I came down the stairs with my RSD haul and asked me if I wanted the gold variant as he had 3 left (I was 4th in line after opening). He said there were 3000 pressed of the gold.

    That makes sense then.

No clear versions will be sold by 10c… golden opportunity etc
its got to be some of the stock that  will go up online soon here and we just got a preview of what it is

To the record flattener it goes. It is incredible that a pressing plant is this notoriously lazy and still gets business.

I can't believe the lack of luck I'm having with EasyStreet! Can you believe that I went to the store that day EV posed with the Earthling window banner? If only our timing was synced...

And, yeah, I called and was told by the phone that the golden one is not available anymore.

Geez, Seattle, please, show me some compassion! lol
