Pinball Hall of Fame is also in Vegas. Hundreds of machines to play if you like arcades/pinball.
Yes. We went there on our last trip---it was awesome.
Do you recall if they had the Adams Family or Batman Pinball games from the late 80's early 90's? Those are still my favorite pinball games to have ever played.

Yea, they've got Addams Family. Don't think they have Batman though.

I bought a Twilight Zone pinball machine for out basement about 15 years ago. Lots of fun but expensive to have someone come out and work on it. Luckily they don't require much maintenance.
I don't see bids on these but I paid $1,600 for mine.

Never play Blackjack at a 6:5 table. Always play at a 3:2 table.
good advice...really sucks that the better casinos are moving to 6:5. That's why Fremont St rules.
Fremont St is a freak show but very cool light show. Just be sure to check before you go....sometimes they will have some shit band playing which stops the light show for the evening

Thanks friends! Like this thread, sounds like Vegas has it all!
I've never met anyone who has gone to Vegas who hasn't enjoyed it. And lots of people who aren't gamblers and who I didn't think would enjoy still really had a good time there. It really offers something for everyone.
Should be fun, I'll be in sessions all day Thursday - Sunday, so won't have a ton of time on my hands, but have a nice list of places to eat from my amigo @mfc2006 and some lovely rec's here in this thread!

haha no, i go for the gambling and maybe some time at the pool. have not hit any adult entertainment establishments while out there. Unless you consider PJ adult entertainment as I've seen them out there 2x.
Hey if you can go into the Luxor. They have 'Inclinators and not Elevators. They move on an angle. It's a weird feeling and worth the walk over and it's free.
We stayed at the Luxor on my honeymoon when it was fairly new, 1998, were all excited for the inclinators...and were frankly let down. For whatever reason we both thought they'd be glass and you could see outside into the casino as you were "inclining".
For me the greatest thing about Vegas can only be replicated by driving to the city at night from a ways off.
In 2000, my brother & I drove cross country... we left Denver mid-morning, and arrived in Vegas around 9:00 at night. Approaching the city from a distance with no other light anywhere on the horizon was f'ing amazing. OP probably won't be able to do this while there for a conference, but hands down, it was my favorite Vegas experience.

Yes they only have the out side in some parts you can see. I thought it was neat to go on an incline, lol.

agreed....we went to Wilson, AZ for a day and got back to LV at night. Pitch black until you get over the hump and the lights are amazing

This place is nuts people. Lamborghinis speeding past homeless people sleeping on sidewalks. The juxtaposition is off the charts. The same dude sprawled out on a slot machine at 9am was there when I came back at 4pm still feeding money into it. There’s weed everywhere too. Like everywhere I go I smell it. And, smoking inside casinos? The smell is awful. My assessment so far is that it’s quite seedy all around.
My Mom and Dad went there about 10 years ago or so and there were people handing him the flyers for the prostitution establishments. While he was walking down the street holding my Mom’s hand. He started to get mad about it, but my Mom just laughed.
