Ha. Will be another six weeks for it to get to NZ I guess. Though I'm supposed to be going to Rarotonga this Friday so I'll be excited that day regardless.

I believe the only difference is the Deluxe CD comes with a hardcover book with a pocket for the CD. I could be wrong.

I listened to the album a lot upon its release... and I really enjoyed the live Earthlings show in February (minus Josh: COVID) in Chicago.  After some time to process, I think this is an above-average album from Eddie.  I think it falls off at the end with songs like "Try", "Picture" and "Mrs. Mills" back-to-back-to-back (kind of like Lightning Bolt falling off a cliff on the back half with duds like "Let the Records Play" and "Sleeping By Myself").

This is a solid enough album that I wish a lot of this stuff would have been brought in to the Pearl Jam universe.  It's confusing to me how they decide what stuff is solo material and what stuff should be Pearl Jam material... for example, I like "Buckle Up" a lot, but could totally hear that on a Stone solo album.  I think a ton of the Earthlings tracks could very easily be on a Pearl Jam album.

Yeah I was trying to find the description of the Deluxe CD on the website, but it's not there... I might order it on amazon.ca, much cheaper (especially re: shipping costs) to order that way in Canada, unfortunately.

I love that Ed and PJ use heavy duty and sometimes tip on sleeves and always include a thick booklet printed on great stock. With records being expensive as fuck, its nice to get something that feels quality and almost worth the cost.

My Indie blue marble showed up today and is nice. Pressed at GZ (for those who care)

  • Did the original orders of the black version ever ship?  I haven't gotten any communication on it and I think I ordered it last year!

When I go into my order history it says "Shipped" but I never got it and don't have an email indicating it shipped.  Am I the only one?

Did a porch pirate get my package?

It sticks in my craw that I ordered this (Deluxe CD and vinyl) on November 23, 2021, and I still haven't received it even though it's now apparently in stores.  Pre-order for post-delivery.

Meanwhile, another favorite artist of mine, Josh Rouse, has a new album out today.  I pre-ordered it in April and the CD arrived in the mail last Friday.  Great job, Yep Roc Records.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Santos said just the other day 10c, just got their shipments and labels were being printed and then shipped. International first, then US.

My guess is distro shipped to stores and treated 10c like a store (it is). But also, I assume their volume is pretty big because they were the only ones taking a PO for it for months before distros went to the record stores. It sucks, but thats the risk you take.

Plus there are plenty of factors that could explain why yep got it early and shipped early vs this record from the 10c.

  • My Deluxe CD is tracking to arrive on Monday the 1st.  Clear vinyl on 4th. And 10c vinyl, same order as the CD, still says "Shipment Ready..." with no date.  Pretty much expected this, though, or at the least, am not surprised.

Does anybody know if the original pre-order from the UK store is the yellow/blue version. Santos said a while back that all direct to fan orders would be blue/yellow. The uk store now has the yellow/blue listed as exclusive colour, however the one i ordered way back says 'standard'. The yellow/blue is more expensive so i'm assuming the one i ordered is gonna be black??
I've just received an email saying the release date is postponed by a week to 5th August but it says the yellow/blue is in stock!! If i'm going to get black, i want to change my order to the yellow/blue.........I'm confused!!!! Can anybody offer any advice??

Anybody else really struggling to get the vinyl back into the cover? It’s so tight on mine I think I might be doing some damage!

£37 in the UK, I’m so glad my vinyl days are mainly behind me. Only pick up the essential releases these days.

I only got a "Shipping label printed" email. Not a "Shipped" label so I can't remember if that means it's on the way or not. NZ will take longer though.

And I take the plastic off to find there's a giant curved line gouged into it from some sort of knife. After ordering it in November that's so sad it's comical.
