    Saw The Strokes there in 2014. I 've seen PJ 30-plus times, and PJ will always be my favorite band, but that Strokes show is the best show I've ever seen.

    I also live within 20 minutes of the Cap - on the one hand it’s hard not to be upset when you wake up and find out something like this happened in your back yard, on the other hand it’s comforting knowing that it doesn’t seem like there was some realistic chance that I missed out on here. 

    (ps my first show at the Cap was also The Strokes, but in 2016 for their warmup gig before Gov Ball - it was a great show except that they went on like 30-45 minutes late. I was convinced that they were breaking up forever backstage.)

    The email for the beacon shows state that the artist requests that everyone wear masks the entire show unless you’re drinking or eating.
