    Alice in Chains
AIC is in my top 5 bands, and I still need to vote them out.

For those picking the Ramones....you realize they took what sounds so easy to do, and made it a career. When you can listen to a band and think "I can do that" but then fail, you know that they are innovators.

Shiny happy people. That is all.
    Great song.  Off w you.
To each their own. But it’s a horrible song. REM has put out a lot of good songs. This ain’t one of ‘em. I’m glad some of you enjoy it. It makes me cringe the second I hear one note from it.
Bang and Blame is my fav from them.  I like the sludgyness of it.

The R.E.M. song people love to hate, LOL.
I'm one of those nerds who love that song.  Now and then, I hear it playing in the grocery story while I am shopping.  If you happen to be there at the same time, I am the idiot who is dancing in the isles while it plays!
honestly, that is probably the single song that got me to NOT look into REM any further. hearing it made me feel like I was listening to Sesame Street.

it was one of my favourite bands, The Watchmen, who are all huge REM nerds, and often will throw a cover in their shows (usually Driver 8), that got me to look again.

Well then, I;m guessing you also don't like Big Bird's classic song, Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz (somewhere in the middle it gets awful qr to me).

Agreed!  Great song. I like the sludgyness of Monster in general.

Monster isn't my favorite R.E.M. album but it sure is great.  Only thing is, the cover on the L.P. nearly sends my head spinning.  I literally have a hard time looking at it!

The R.E.M. Monster cover with it's dizzying blurred image makes me queasy and puts me into a head spin. This one just makes me a bit nauseated.

Right?! How can you not love REM and Kate Pierson together on the same track?!!

@MedozK, is everything all right? I know the tornadoes hit Tennessee, so I just wanted to make sure you're okay.
Hey, yea we are good. We are about 30 miles southeast of Nashville. Most of the really bad stuff was northwest of us. Weather is crazy here. I will be glad when my wife and I retire so we can move to East Tennessee, and get out of Tornado Alley.

Happy to hear you're both okay.  :)
