I think with these few left and such an important competition. Just one band should be removed each round. And let's see where the Ramones haters fall over to in the next round.

I have actually thought about doing that, except I was going to wait to the final four and just remove one each round.

    Do it now. Build suspense.

BE A BIT MORE HITCHOCK IN YOUR LIFE.

It is not certain that all Ramones people go to metallica next round for example. Interesting to see if shifts occur.

I love these votes.  We have some staggered because I vote REM and some people think Brian Johnson sucks.  Some people most value bands from 60 years ago more than anything people under the age of 70 heard as it came out, some value a decade's contributions most.

Always interesting....but the funny comments made back and forth about the votes are what makes them so funny.

If only Stefan were still around to vent when his favrite banned was voted of.

A proclamation is generally a non-binding notice. Therefore, it has much in common with a suggestion.

The R.E.M. song people love to hate, LOL.
I'm one of those nerds who love that song.  Now and then, I hear it playing in the grocery story while I am shopping.  If you happen to be there at the same time, I am the idiot who is dancing in the isles while it plays!

honestly, that is probably the single song that got me to NOT look into REM any further. hearing it made me feel like I was listening to Sesame Street.

it was one of my favourite bands, The Watchmen, who are all huge REM nerds, and often will throw a cover in their shows (usually Driver 8), that got me to look again.

    lol, sesame street, that's good!

I was just coming off of a B-52's Cosmic thing high for a while so to hear this song instantly struck a chord w me.

If there is hate for this how about Stand?  Do y'all dislike that one too?

yeah, that's another one. sounded like another kid song. but those two, as far as I can tell, are outliers in their catalogue.

To each their own. But it’s a horrible song. REM has put out a lot of good songs. This ain’t one of ‘em. I’m glad some of you enjoy it. It makes me cringe the second I hear one note from it.
