In theory, Verified Fan attempts to spread tickets around which is why you need a separate code for each show. It works against people trying for multiple shows by design. Whether it has any positive impact at all in practice I do not know.

Since TM didn't verify me I dont even have the opportunity to try and buy tix.  I understand getting shut out but not even a chance to try, that I don't.
Yes - there must be a better way to keep the bots out.
    right?

it's pretty clear from the posts here that making 'real' fans jump through a bunch of hoops to get tickets isn't working

meanwhile, scalpers beat the system, again

Will any of these verified tickets purchased today be available in F2F? Thought I heard that TM won't even allow fans to resell in F2F for these shows?

I think so.  It was only the markets where scalping is encouraged or whatever that doesn't use F2F.  New York and what not.
    Thanks.
Of course, I was hoping for NY. I got waitlisted on verfied, which means no tix for me today. So if F2F is out for NY, this means it's secondary markets like stub etc etc? ugh.

Question - there are some platinum tix coming up.  If I didn't make it off the waitlist of verified fan, are those not available to me?  I selected it twice and it just said "sorry, we are unable to process on this device. please make sure you are signed in."  I AM SIGNED IN!    I assume it's because I did not get verified fan status?
    A lifer.

Did the chicago queue freeze for anyone else? I've been stuck at the same number but the page looks like it's refreshing properly...

Amazing to me how many people just don't read the damn email every time a tour is announced. 99% of all questions are answered in the damn email or the announcement page on the band's website. Sick of seeing people complain about their own damn stupidity.

Plus, Ticketmaster Verified Fan is MUCH BETTER than how it was before. It benefits people who have a history of buying shows and actually going and works against people who buy and then sell/transfer immediately. The Platinum stuff is BS, though.

Try downloading the app to your phone. That should fix it.

Don't buy Platinum, folks. There are more cost efficient options out there (not for me, though. Regular price, or nothin'. So, nothin, lol).

If anyone has a code, Newark has some regular priced singles. I'm good for it!

Read email and followed instructions.  Have bought many a shows and sporting events on TM but apparently they wouldn't verify me for this.  That is some BS.

So let's just hypothetically say money is no object and I'm willing to spend ungodly amounts of money on StubHub for tickets to the Chicago show.  The website announcing the show also says, "On the night of the show, all guests will be required to enter with the ticket purchaser."

So does this mean that anyone buying tickets via StubHub gets shafted (again) by being denied access at the venue?
