    I love Lance’s work. I reached out to him in December asking if he photographed one of my favorite bands For Squirrels. He was super nice, sent me a large file to look through of photos I had never seen. 

    I order a handful of things and he threw a bunch of extra stuff as an appreciation. The framed one is a 16x20

    📸 @lancemphoto … do tell… where is this location? Your studio? Date(s)? Did Jeff Ament cut/design/paint all those letters? Who chose the final photo? Was “Ten” fully recorded by this time? What were your thoughts on what u were hearing before the rest of world did? U happen to have any of these prints for sale anymore, please ?

    Ha! Thanks @easystreetguy , so many questions..see if I can answer these correctly:
    1-studio was in pioneer square, we just rented for a few days, wasn’t  fancy enough to have my own place yet, still fresh out of photo school
    2-yes, jeff had the idea to do full size letters, so everything would be to scale for the cover, concept was already thought out…we took bunch of test shots w Polaroids for color and poses. 3-Ten was already recorded and def could tell it had some songs that were going to do well, sounded like a band that had been around for longer than they had. 4-I made 10 copies of each size and yes, I still have some prints left, please feel free to DM me and I can put aside for whoever wants..it’s what I do and how I make a living, so yeah, win win! Thanks Matt , your a good one🙏🏼❤️

    MOTHER LOVE BONE PRINT SALE

    To commemorate the 35 year anniversary since the release of Apple, I chose the iconic image that was used for the insert, dubbed the “Apple sessions”. Im also including an outtake from the very first session we did together, used for the 1989 EP Shine. The Apple session was shot in Bruce and Steph’s Wallingford apartment, right above Durn Good Grocery. Xana created the starred paper backdrop, and the apple Jeff used was left over from the shoot we did for the Apple album cover.

    Both sessions accomplished more than just capturing photos—they built trust and connection. That bond became the foundation for everything that followed. For me, that trust has always been the most important part of photography. Technical skill is the easy part; trust requires integrity and compassion.

    All my work with Mother Love Bone remains close to my heart, especially because of the loss of the first true superstar I was lucky enough to call a friend—AndyWood. He made the work shine brighter. Landrew still lives on, high atop Mt. Olympus, casting his “Love Rock” light down on all of us.

    He ships to Canada. Not sure why he wouldn't on this MLB sale.

    Ok thanks for confirming.. I never bought any prints for him and wasn’t sure.
